Where locals frequent, it must be good and this place comes very strongly recommended for traditional Chinese cuisine. The crowd is testimony of its favourite status for no nonsense noodles and rice dishes and Oh, don't forget the roast meats.

Keep away! Terrible Chinese food, it was disgusting and the pork wasn't cooked. My girlfriend was very ill afterwards and I am back now lying on my sofa unable to move. I feel terrible. It has to be the worse I've had in my life and they were rude about us as well. Avoid!

We are from San Francisco, so we have pretty good quality Chinese food here. After being in Europe for 10 days, we were craving for rice and was happy to stumble upon Nam Kee. We were not expecting much. But upon entering the restaurant, all the servers and cook speak Cantonese, it's a good assurance already. We ordered a BBQ... More

We had the yong chow fried rice, prawn dumpling soup and roast duck. The sambal chilli was good, and the yong chow fried rice was tasty!

I had not checked TA's reviews before heading to this restaurant. I'd have avoided this place if I read recend terrible reviews. Anyway, i ordered a Yang Chow fried rice and it taste good, although the fried rice wasn't authentic in my opinion. Priced at $13.50 thought it was a bit expansive but when dish was served, i find it... More

If you truly enjoy chinese food with original and authentic flavours avoid this restaurant. Its menu and food taste exactly the same has thousands other chinese restaurants around the world, with very little differentiation. Service is poor and food is just average. It's a busy place though. Prices are reasonable for the quality served.

I don't recommend this Chinese restaurant. I got the crispy noodle with beef & veggies. Not only was it bland, but I found a bug in food halfway through. I wouldn't have even eaten half if I hadn't been so hungry... And to top it off, the waitress was the typical unfriendly Chinese waitress.

My boyfriend ate the eggplant with minced pork from this restaurant and got a food poisoning since then. He kept throwing up and had a diarrhoea. We ended up going to the hospital. Never come back again.

Good food at very reasonable prices, you get a large portion of food which gets a bit 'samey' half way through it, but it is still delicious to the last spoon full. I had the mixed meats with rice and my wife had the chicken chow mien both of which I can recommend. The service was good although the waitress... More
