We ordered a smaller version of the "RIJSTTAFEL MINAHASA", which included a variety of beef, chicken and vegetable dishes, and all were superb! Spiciness cooked to order, and excellent service! One of the best meals I have eaten!

Went for lunch with friends, only one person taking care of the whole place, but he was great! The food was very good and the waiter was really polite and kept calm even though he needed to take care of everything on his own.

If you haven’t tried Indonesian food yet, Amsterdam is a great place to give it a go and this mid-price restaurant south of the centre is one of the best in the city. If you are a first timer, an ideal introduction is a rijsttafel, a banquet of 18 delicious and spicy dishes that range from mild to few notches... More

A fairly basic setting for a restaurant that's really all about the food. We decided we had to have the 24 course rijsttafel minahasa. This is excellent value and the food really is lovely. It arrived quite quickly served in a series of small bowls that gives a couple of mouthfuls per couple of diners and probably left us a... More

Very tasty food - bought a kind of sharing main (Rijsttafel) which consisted of sides, lots (more than enough) of small main dishes and rice. Each dish was wonderful. The lamb was very tender and the varying spices were great. The service was very good - we stayed until quite late (near closing time) but the waiter was always polite... More

On a recommendation we booked a table and enjoyed a well flavoured varied choice of dishes running from lightly spiced to fairly spicy. Service was attentive and friendly. The cost of a Rijsttafel is very reasonable, especially compared to other nearby options, the service is better, and you are not squashed in, nor hurried. So much Indonesian food in the... More

We wanted to try Indonesian food in Amsterdam. This was a quaint little place. Choice was good but limited. It was lovely to we an open kitchen with nothing to hide. Atmosphere got lively as if filled up. Pleasant experience.

We visited Tujuh Maret after a long walk in Amsterdam city. We are not familiar with the Indonesian cuisine so we ask te staff for recommendation. The very nice waitress recommended us the Rijsttafel. All kind of different dishes such as chicken, beef, egg, vegetables and rice. The flavors of those dishes were delicious and very tasteful. I would definitely come back to... More
