We went there a Saturday night with my girlfriend and everything was perfect: very good service, friendly staff and good food. We had 2 meats (lamp chops and rib eye), one mix of tapas and a few glasses of Sangria for less than 40e.

The consierge at our hotel recommended Duende, and enjoyed finding it on our first night in Amsterdam. The food was fabulous, the service was fun-filled. The restaurant looked after one gluten-free person on our table beautifully. Highly recommended!

We are enthusiastic fans of Spanish tapas, so we were excited to stumble upon this gem of a restaurant that is a bit off the beaten path, Our group ordered paella, patatas bravas, gambas al ajillo, champinones al ajillo, and a carafe of sangria. (Marinated...More

Our Airbnb accommodation was literally 100 steps round the corner so we 'stumbled' on this wonderful dining experience by chance - we were warmly greeted into a pleasant convivial 'local' atmosphere at 9.15pm even though we did not have a booking - the red house...More

The chocolate mousse was outstanding. We were speechless. I've had plenty of chocolate mousse in my time but this one was a sheer delight. The rest of meal was OK, and the service was good. But make sure you leave some room for the mousse!

Food and service are excellent here, waiters are very friendly, helpful, patient and kind. The tapas are out of this world, or maybe they are just Spanish, how they should be. Simple, delicate, tasty, yummy. And so much to choose from, there's lots of veggies/meat...More

We choose this restaurant based on the reviews but were sadly disappointed. The restaurant is a simple place, with welcoming staff. The service was oké. When a part of our order wasn't brought to the table this was quickly repaired and we got a small...More

One of Amsterdam’s most preferred outdoor markets and
some of the city’s favorite watering holes are but two
of the many reasons to save ample time for a stroll
through this especially convivial warren of narrow
streets with its unfair share of quirky shops and
quality galleries. Historically a haven for the
working class and emigrants, these days the Jordaan is
better known as an enclave for artists and designers.
