this coffeeshop is a brilliant place to spend some time, eat some noodles and drink a looza! the staff are lovely, and you might be lucky enough to meet the gorgeous dog :)

Cute cafe but a small selection on the plant menu. There was no room to sit and chill as its quite small and quite busy at the time I visited

I’ve been to Amsterdam a few times and like to give every coffee shop a chance but seriously would not come back to the rookies. They need to take a long look at their staff and reconsider their employment status. They were incredibly rude, no...greetings, no thank you’s and when I asked if it was possible to have a drink their response was ‘just sit down’. Only thing I will say is their selection of weed is good but not good enough to compromise their manners.More

The Rookies was the first coffee shop I stumbled upon during a trip to Amsterdam years ago. I've been back to the city fives times since then, and The Rookies remains my go-to destination for bud and hash. The place also serves great coffee!

The best coffe shop in Amsterdam I went I was at Amsterdam 7 March until 14 great service best guys at service great drinks nice herb and the best music I love this place I recommend it. I will be back at this place Octomber...or December for sure!!!!More

It was our first time in a coffee shop in Amsterdam and I’m so glad we found this place. The staff were friendly and accommodating to us novices! Large menu, with pre-made available. Would recommend to inexperienced smokers as well as experienced

This was our first time in Amsterdam and our first coffee shop to try. The guy who served us was super friendly and gave us a good idea of what herbs was bets for us. Spent most of our trip down in this place as...it was just so easy going and cool.More

Had a superb trip recently. Best coffeeshop in Amsterdam currently, best coffee and by far the best covid protection I have seen, anywhere!. You can still relax as normal in a safe and spotlessly clean environment. This is not true for many other coffeshops and...bars especially, some have no measures at all to keep their staff or customers safe. Well done guys. I know it has been a huge amount of work for you to make the adaptations and keep people focussed on observing them, but keep up the excellent work! Hope to see you again shortly :) To deliver a quality environment that is safe is not easy, so again well done for putting your staff and customers first. If people are worried about making a visit, hopefully this should help calm those fears....it can be done safely, and stick to the establishments like this who are making the extra effort, and you will be fine and have a lot of fun. Rookies is a good Coffeeshop with a good quality standard menu. Champagne haze has been one of my favourites in there and I’m glad they had it again. Good merchandise as well and friendly staff, always enjoy my time here

*IF YOU ARE YOUNG AND LOOK/ACT LIKE YOU DONT SMOKE WEED REGULARLY THEN THEY WILL SCAM YOU* We went in and asked for a pre roll. Dude says they have the one with tobacco in it for €4.20 and the ones with pure weed in...it for €7.50. We asked for the pure weed. He sold us one with tobacco in it for €7.50. The taste and smell of it is unmistakable. Shone a flashlight in there and sure enough, it was half filled with tobacco. Thought it might have been a mistake so we went back to them and the man opens the joint up, sees the weed and tobacco, looks at us and with a straight face says "that's pure weed". Rolled it back up and sent us on our way. Wtf. We basically paid €7.50 for a damn cigarette.More

Such a chill place, nice staff, clean toilets which are a must in the coffee shops. I should of requested the playlist as it was perfect. Pineapple sativa, champagne haze & the Mandarin OG’s are a must try! The peach iced tea is a fresh...wake up and the staff are happy to help. Went in Jan 2019 and came back March 2020, same vibe big recommend.More

Title says it all. Although it’s in a pretty touristy area, I found it nicely tucked away. The did some recent renovations and it looks great.
