I found this place on my first morning in Amsterdam--it was delightful and foretold my whole vacation. The staff were welcoming and offered me, a 66-year-old solo traveler, a comfy upholstered chair in a nook under the stairs. Food and drinks were great. They have many different sorts of smoothies. The big minus is that there was a mouse. In Amsterdam is an issue, but they should take care of that!!! Especially once mouse is running in a cafe while it’s super busy...and full of people.More

A lovely place to enjoy your brunch. The coffee blend was not the best but still okay. The food options were kind of limited.

We thoroughly enjoyed our breakfast here, and we were lucky to get a table as there was a queue forming around 10.30. The pancakes were absolutely delicious, especially with the coconut. Good selection of coffees, teas and juices. Really cool decor as well.

I had the scrambled eggs on avocado egg and my girlfriend the Bircher Musli and a banana bread. Everything tasted really good, especially the coffee! The eggs could have been spiced more interestingly though. Still a really nice place!

We got a recommendation to try this cafe and it did not disappoint. We both got the pancakes and they were delicious, some of the best pancakes I have had.

Nice burrito, I’d recommend that one. Good portions for the price. It’s a lovely place but the staff aren’t the friendliest. Coffee is ok.

We went here for breakfast on a friend's recommendation. We were aware prior that this is a very popular place and so anticipated a wait. Beautiful place inside with a lovely atmosphere. When we got to the front the lovely waitress offered us a couch...to eat. However I find it really uncomfortable to eat so low and she thankfully offered us a table instead. I've read some people say that the servers are rude but I disagree and believe that they are simply over worked. In our time there the staff were up and down others stairs continuously. Perhaps C & C would benefit from hiring more servers as the staff do not have time to talk to customers other than taking your order. The food and drinks do take a long time so settle in. On arrival it was definitely worth waiting for. I had Eggs ARVO and my husband had breakfast taco. Both very nice.More

We went in for lunch and it was amazing. There's such a great atmosphere with everyone relaxing and enjoying the weekend. We had coffees and golden milk (never seen that on a menu before and it was great) and some bao buns which were really...tasty. A fun place to stop for a snack.More

Sunday brunch was very nice despite the extremely unfriendly hostess. The food was delicious, the vibe was lively.

Cozy environment with pleasant service. The taste of the food that we have ordered was average. Cafe is located in the old church which was a unique experience.
