Came across the place when getting off a tram that was going in the wrong direction! Decided to call in for a beer and a baguette, both of which were first rate. The waiting staff were very friendly and provided us with a menu in...More

I've had breakfast/brunch here but never dinner. On a Sunday night it was very quiet and the food was average at best. As usual in AMS the red wine selection is poor, so you are better off with beer. The salmon was a little dry...More

Lovely atmosphere in this pub. Live music really set the mood and the local beers were extremely refreshing. Food looked lovely but didn’t try anything on this visit.

Good neighborhood, great location on the corner infront of small park and outside seating. Have a meal or a drink and be in a comfortable setting. Met friends here for drinks and dinner. Good service, prices a bit high, but nice atmosphere.

Very unfortunately this place hasn't become 'ours'. We live just a bock away from it and it could have been a great spot to hang out and have a meal. Restaurant has an interesting historic art-deco interior and its outdoor terrace is strategically facing the...More

Thanks for your feedback! Indeed, a lot of our food is on the traditional and basic side. It's what we want it to be. We do try, however, to serve food with excellent basic ingrediënts, where possible organic, free range and/or sustainable. It is true...More

On our first night in Amsterdam, we searched for a great place to have Croquettes. Wildschut was highly recommended by a friend and it received good TripAdvisor reviews so we decided to give it a try. We were not disappointed. The veal croquettes were flavorful...More

Thank you so much! To be frank, we buy our Croquettes at Holtkamp, the Royal Pâtissier who does them best. Better than anyone else we know.... We try to cook them to perfection in the freshest oil and serve prime quality fries with them. We...More

Only walking distance from the museumsquare, you will find this nice place. It is having a big terrace, which is really nice for sitting outside and watch life in Amsterdam. We ordered a beer and a wine, together with some bread and aioli. The aioli...More

Thanks a lot for your nice words! Sorry you found your aïoli to be too salty. We always will serve you a free glass of water if you want, or, even better, we are participating in the "water made blue" program. We'll get you a...More

Nice place to have a drink and a bite after touring Amsterdam. Wildschut is a bit off the beaten track and in summer a popular place with locals to sit outside and enjoy the sun. Fancy a proper meal? They have that too although I'd...More

Thanks for your kind words! We try to come close to Loetje's steak, and always say that we're at least second best ;) Ours steaks and burgers, however, are locally produced and completely organic.
