Lovely food my partner has had sushi all over the world and thus was as good as any. I had mixed teriyaki with rice - unbelievable the beef was so tender melt in the mouth ... the seafood is lush recommended

We eat decently, yet by the time the food arrived everybody was in a bad mood. And the restaurant wasn’t even full. Service was slow, ignored our calls to the table, confused the orders. Really not a nice experience.

Very very very nice food! It all comes whenever is ready so kind of inconvenient but as other reviews say it’s worth waiting for. Pleasant, polite service as well. I have enjoyed the evening a lot with my friends. I would not recommend it for...a business dinners but I would definitely come back as a casual guest. Not the cheapest but also it extremely expensive. Worth visiting.More

The restaurant is nice, I assume it's a family business and feels really cosy because it's rather quiet inside, the music plays slow also the service is going slow but it's worth waiting for it. The food was very good, if you seat at the...bar as I did you can see the fresh fish how is chopped, I'd say it's a nice experience. If you want a more privacy you just have to choose a table. Also I would recommend to reserve a table in advance as it's quite full in the evening.More

Fresh Japanese food! Open kitchen! Good and fast service! Ambiance could be better. One of the best in Amsterdam!

The food here is absolutely amazing. It is obvious that a lot of time and care is put into each dish. The service however was extremely slow, it took almost half an hour for our order to be taken and then the dishes came out...one by one with large waiting times between them. Maybe the service would be better if you attend during the week and early evening, however it doesn’t ruin the speciality of the food.More

First, Important to reserve a place before you come cause the place is usually full, The service was, as usual with Japanese people, very amable and smiley... Everything was very tasty and the only problem was the time we had to wait until all the...4 orders were ready to serve (we were 4 friends), Price was acceptable... We recommend to visit, JBMore

Amazing udon which melts in your mouth but is satisfying to chew at the same time. The sukiyaki is great, the tempura is light and crispy and the rice was delicious too. The sake tasting pairs really nicely with all of the delicious dishes, and...I really get the feeling that there’s nothing on this menu that’s not delicious! All of this praise and it’s not even expensive! Will definitely be back!More
