If you're a real lover of bakeries try this place out! These guys know their breads and are very passionate about their baking. Real sour dough breads, rising for hours. No industrial premixes everything made as it should be. We had the high tea which was excellent! Great way of trying out most thing on the menu. Definitely go back.

My sister and I loved the fresh bread, croissants, scones and pain au chocolat! The place is really cute, eveyone is nice and food and drinks definitely worth a visit right in the morning!

Go here, you won't be disappointed. All items are made fresh, the staff is wonderful, helpful. Coffee was great and breads were wonderful... Make sure you get the Canelé.

Friendly staff, tables upstairs away from street noise, fresh tasting food, good size portions. Closed on Mondays. Tables and glasses could be cleaner. The really bright desk/table lights show all flaws. Paper napkins are rough to touch.

Stopped in for a simple breakfast. Everything was excellent. Organic muesli with farm fresh yogurt and great coffee. This place is located in the very busy section of town not far from the train station. There is an upstairs dining room in the back which takes you away from the street noise. Service was excellent and the total meal was... More

Definitely the best place to eat we visited in Amsterdam. Went there on my sister's recommendation and they lived up to it in full. We only had savoury dishes (unfortunately!). Breads, cheese and greens were supreme, top notch ingredients used. And the eventual price was considerably less than what we had to pay in inferior eating places.

We were staying close by, and quite often do not opt for the very large buffet breakfasts offered by the hotels. We normally do not eat that way at home, and really enjoy getting out of the hotels and finding local spots. Well this is the place for us. Excellent selection of breads baked on location, fresh squeezed OJ, and... More

Neighborhood Profile
Amsterdam’s buzzing hub, with its sprawling network of tram rails and a seemingly constant flow of tourists and commuters, yields convenient access to some of the best sightseeing, shopping, and street life in Europe. Closest at hand are the Royal Palace, the quaint shops of Haalremmerdijk, the pedestrianized zones Kalverstraat and Dam Square with popular neighborhoods such as the Red Light District, and the Canal Ring hardly more than a moment’s stroll away. With the well-connected Centraal Station as Centrum’s base, it's easy to travel farther afield via one of the city’s iconic trams.
