Had a lovely evening drinking local beer (lowlander ipa and zattw triple) and eating local snacks like old Amsterdam cheese. The raw sausage ossenworst was delicious! And we even tried some jonge jenever (with tonic). The place seems popular both with tourists and locals.

This is a lovely bar with nice outside seats, friendly staff and excellent drinks. I'd recommend the Brand Weizen to drink for a very smooth lager.

I had dinner here when its big brother next door, Haesje Claes, was fully booked. The menu is the same but it's slightly less formal and doesn't fill up so quickly. Service is quick and friendly and the food wholesome and filling in the Dutch...More
