I had great lunches here with my friend who is very allergic to gluten. Not only do the dishes are delicious (especially being glutenfree), but they are also safe for someone who is really allergic. Great egg dishes! There is also a nice concept store...inside, so one more reason to come by :)More

Cottoncake is an absolute delight. It offers a small dining area inside a nice little shop. The service is friendly and especially helpful for people with celiac disease. The server could not have been warmer or more friendly. The avocado toast is exquisite. Dessert choices...are strong. It's very rare to find a restaurant in which the choices for gluten-free dining are so tempting and varied that it was hard to choose. Highly recommended.More

Cute clothes store with white minimalist decor and a few tables upstairs serving breakfast favourites and cakes. I had their avocado toast with fried egg and it was delicious, really fresh and tasty. Nice stop if you are out shopping in the area

This is a clothing boutique with a small cafe on the loft in the back. The service was slow but friendly. The food was so-so. I had the GF banana bread which was just OK, I have had better. My daughter had the omelette on...GF bread, again just average.More

I read about Cottoncake on someone's blog before we went to Amsterdam as I was in search of gluten/dairy free spots for lunch. This can be pretty deceiving as it's a clothing store in the front and a little cafe in the back! There's no...sign outside the shop advertising their delicious food, but take my word for it, you won't be sorry! We had an amazing salad and gluten/dairy free pecan pie for dessert. Highly recommend!More

I’ve been there with my boyfriend for lunch, last March! I’ve to say that at first I was a bit doubtful with the spot, cus it didn’t seem a good place to eat in, but then when we finally sat down at our little table,...I regretted what I’d thought before! The food was amazing and I was super excited cus I found a place where I could eat gluten free stuff ( I’m severely allergic to gluten)!! The place is super chilled and I reckon that mixing food and clothing is an appealing idea ! I absolutely recommend to come here just for a quick lunch or even for breakfast !!More

Cottoncake was recommended by a friend and my daughter and I had a lovely experience there. We ate breakfast, which was beautiful and then shopped around. The girl working there couldn't have been nicer!

Been here before...came back...and it's still one of my favorite places in Amsterdam. The food, all of it seemingly whole and fresh, is just really great. The orange cake -- not usually my go-too flavor -- is one of my favorite things to eat in...the world. And the people who work there couldn't be lovelier.More

This place was perfect - in a great part of the city, super cute and photogenic, and the food was fantastic. Ideal for vegans and gluten free/wheat free - lots of different options on the menu! I opted for the rhubarb spelt waffle - amazing....And even a selection of non-dairy milks.More

Stopped in and it didn’t disappoint. Effortlessly cool with suitably friendly staff to match. Food lived up to the description - tasty and good value for money. Try their banana-walnut bread 🍞 👍
