The food here is hearty and portions are large. As a family of 4 (two teens) we ordered the fondue as a starter. And then the traditional meatball and mashed potatoes. Good food. Meatball was large and dense but tasty.

We found this place while we are walkşng spontaneously. You can taste the traditional Dutch food here. Staff are friendly, the place is small and brown furnished. Weate croquet, and some traditional beef and meatballs. Everything is good. Prices are quiet well

I'm not sure if this is what the Dutch eat on a regular basis, because if it is, how do they keep their figures. Very nice place, very welcoming staff, nice beer. Food was interesting rather than delicious, and perhaps a bit stodgy for me.
We came to this restaurant based on other Trip Advisor reviews and weren't disappointed. It is not a fancy place and it is in the middle of the touristy row of 'pizza/pasta/burger' establishments. Do yourself a favor - skip those and come to the Pantry....More
