We were really well looked after in this restaurant, the service is very attentive. We came here for a celebration meal and don't think we could have made a better choice! Seeing the food being made is a real spectacle and just makes your mouth water! Excellent, perfectly cooked. We would love to go again!

My husband and I have had teppanyaki many times before but this was hands down the best experience yet. Service was fabulous.... Attentive and courteous... The food was fresh and quality ingredients for each and every bite. You definitely get what you pay for and it was well worth the money. We had the fish of the day starter and... More

What an amazing experience! From the moment you enter the restaurant, you are made to feel special. The Michelin star may be what attracts you initially but you will soon realise this place deserves more than one. The food is absolutely sublime and of course the Teppanyaki style provides the 'show'. Our meal lasted for 3 hours and not a... More

If you're looking for lots of theatre at your table, this is not the right restaurant for you - no knife throwing or food activities, just very good fresh food, prepared simply, with a lot of flavor. The present Mrs T and I had a very pleasant (if also very expensive, especially the wine) evening watching our food being cooked... More

This is a Michelin One restaurant. They have always been fully booked. We two were lucky. We arrived at the restaurant after 9pm and the reception found two seats for us after knowing we are Hotel Okura's guests. The chef is Japanese lady and cooked foods in front of us, efficiently, neatly and politely. We enjoyed watching her cooking during... More

Stunning restaurant. Dining in front of the grill gives you a real insight into the thought and attention given to preparing your food. Although not the cheapest place to eat, it's worth every penny. Great service too!

Description
The Teppan-chefs will prepare the most delicious fish, meat and vegetarian dishes on a hot iron griddle at your table: a la minute cooking with Japanese precision. The contemporary Japanese interior, inspired by the elements of stone, wood, water and fire, is an oasis of tranquillity. The teppanyaki griddles are large enough for seven to ten guests and are ideal for both business and celebratory dinners. Sazanka is open for dinner from 18:30 to 22:00 daily. Lunch can be prepared for a minimum group size of 10 people and must be booked in advance.
