Food gets 4 stars: lamb shank, lamb tangine, lentil soup & chicken in phyllo. All quite good and nicely presented. However, there was a 50 minute gap between appetizers and entrees. The waiter avoided eye contact for as long as he could and then said "your tangine is next or maybe it's one after that". Meanwhile, the table across from... More

This very beautiful and small restaurant is tucked away. Tables are lit by tall candle tapers. We had a delicious, interesting and home made mead. Mediterranean style. My daughter with gluten and food insensitivity ate well.

We made a reservation which proved to be a good idea. The lam was really good and the bread/homus was the best The wine menu was a little limited and the we got pricey for the quality The service and deco was fantastic so all in all a very good experience

After hearing good reviews about the restaurant for years, I finally went there on Sunday. After we were seated we were told they had run out of couscous?! As far as I know this is a Maroccan staple to be served with most dishes. This was very dissapointing and we were told was because it was a Sunday. Food overall... More

If you fancy Moroccan food while in Amsterdam, this is the place to go for dinner. Place was jam-packed when we went there (Friday night). Everything we ordered was tasty and delicious. Portion is rather generous for a not-so-big eater like me. If you come with empty stomach, you'd be definitely like it. 😀

Out with friends looking for a place to eat. In Amsterdam, if you are unlucky, some kitchens close at 10pm. Luckily for us that was the case in a nearby establishment, so we found ourselves at the door of Mamouche. We knew we had found a gem as nearly all of the tables were full, but they managed to squeeze... More

Made a last minute reservation for 5 and had really a great dinner experience. After a warm welcome, got a good explanation of the menu and specials of the day. We all choose different and everyone was very happy. Very tasteful dishes, presented in style and good attentive service. Made us really feel being in warm Morocco again! (while being... More

Everything was excellent: friendly service and the food was better than what we ate in restaurants in Morocco!
