We were wandering the neighborhood and passed Mamouche. It had a great look with subtle lighting and lots of candlelight so we stopped in. Got a table easily on a Sunday night at 7 but it filled up while we were there. Had the couscous and mixed grill plus lamb tagine and Moroccan cabernet. Service, food, and drink was excellent.... We had a dinner here few days ago and the staff really made an effort to get us in even though the place was already busy. The food was very delicious and atmosphere candlelight cozy.

Warm welcome from the staff - plenty of them and a relaxed atmosphere. We had the chef's tasting menu: bstilla, filo parcel, lamb tagine and fish tagine. Fruits and wonderful cinnamon ice cream to follow. Good value and a fair price. Will definitely go again on our next visit to Amsterdam.

We let the chef surprise us with the chosen dishes (according to our limitations of course.. Some are vegetarians) and we were not disappointed. Every dish was a big success. Great place for a good meal.

Of all the places we dined at during our stay in Amsterdam I enjoyed Mamouche the most. It is elegant , the service is friendly and the food is very good. I am no expert in Moroccan food but it tasted original to me with all the spices and rich flavours. The starters were very good ( I always find... More

The food was delicious. I would definitely recommend it to anyone. Because of the large party I was with (20 people) they had trouble with serving the food on time. Especially the first course took really long. The food was totally worth waiting for!

Enjoyed every moment of the evening and every bite of the delicious food! If you are looking for a restaurant to taste elegant Maghreb cuisine, Mamouche is the place to go! The restaurant is chic and elegantly decorated. The white tablecloths and candles on every table are providing a very cosy atmosphere. The dishes are elegantly and modernly presented with... More

A great pic for our last evening in Amsterdam. In the heart of lively district De Pjip, this small restaurant is decorated with modern taste. Welcoming staff and great house cocktail as apperitiv. The menu includes the classical tajine, but as well raffinated and creativ choices such as the Milles Feuilles de l'Atelas and the Duck Confit Leg. North african... More

Great restaurant - we visited on a rainy July evening, were the first customers in, but by the time we left the place was full. Waitress very friendly and took time to walk us through all the menu options, which hadn't been translated into English as they'd just reviewed it. Lovely Moroccan food, all felt very authentic, service was great,... More
