Amazing Coffee, delicious Indian food, Dutch salad, sandwiches etc. very humble & polite staff. After a long journey from Delhi to Amsterdam, it was feeling like home when we had Indian food here. My son loved cold coffee here! I could find super clean toilet...at this place only. I would say it’s a must visit place to feel home during travel. It’s one of my favourite place during my visit to Amsterdam.More
Very nice food, extremely wide range, nice people, good price. Highly recommend. We got served very quickly we had pancake and lentil soup went straight to the soul
Reasonably priced, quiet and tasty food! Well located but not busy, really lovely to sit outside and watch the world go by as you have your breakfast
We stumbled across this restaurant while our group had different ideas for dinner and this got the bill. The food was plentiful and delicious. Waitstaff was pleasant. I wish I could have taken a doggy bag with me!
Walked in just behind a large group, but we were looked after very promptly. Great food, great service. Well worth a visit.
We stumbled on this cafe by chance on a recent visit to Amsterdam. I’m told the coffee was great by the coffee expert in the family. I had a mint tea made with fresh leaves - super. The club sandwich was excellent and the croissant...my daughter ordered disappeared in record time. Service was very friendly offering a bag (which was gratefully received) for the last part of the sandwich I couldn’t manage. My daughter was also given a small Easter egg - a nice touch. Highly recommendedMore
Service was great. First time in Amsterdam and definitely want to come back and visit. The banana and chocolate pancake was a favorite
Great bacon and cheese pancake. 5 stars! If you are visiting Ansterdam you have to visit this place!
After a visit to Anne Frank’s house nearby we wanted some pancakes to lighten the mood. My first choice pancake restaurant was full with queues out of the door and the prices on the menu were very high due to its location. We wandered down...Prinsenstraat and by chance discovered ‘At Letting’ cafe. I understand this is under new ownership and used to be called ‘Letting’ cafe. This is a cosy cafe with very good pancakes. I ordered the apple and cinnamon with a cafe latte and both were excellent. I was so relieved that the pancake was indeed a pancake and not the smaller thicker American style pancakes. These are definitely pancakes and not crepes (thinner) and the combination of thinly sliced fresh apple and cinnamon was so good we visited again for lunch on our last day in Amsterdam. My husband went for his usual choice of simply lemon and sugar. The other food and savoury pancakes all looked very good as well. Service was friendly and the final bill was very reasonable. It just shows that it is well worth walking off the main tourist route to find good quality food and much cheaper prices.More
The homemade Jam is spectacular . I recommend this place principally ti have a under full and pleasant breakfast.
Popped in for lunch. Had a delicious pancake with goats cheese and honey. Food was very tasty and the service speedy and friendly. Good value in a city where food can be pricey
we visited recently to try the pancakes here which were very good, however, we didn’t the staff particularly friendly or welcoming. There are other similar places close by that I would recommend over this one.
I've been there about 5 times now and as a student I usually do not go out for brunch as Amsterdam is highly expensive. Loving the atmosphere, staff is extremely friendly and open. The location is in such a cute area as well! This place...is excellent, as the food is amazing and the prices are so valuable for Amsterdam standards. The portion sizes are huge and the price is relatively cheap. A sandwhich with Avocado, chicken etc. would cost around 10 Euros more in any other tourist trap restaurant! Highly recommended! Recommended food: Club Sandwhich, Open sandwich (old cheese and avo), Pancake fruitmix, smoothies. See you next week !More
I've tried roughly the same pancake now at three different pancakeries in the city so I could compare :-) I ordered a bacon, goat cheese and apple pancake (at letting drizzles honey in too which is a nice touch). I ordered from Pancake Bakery, Mama...Pancake, and At Letting. I actually popped into at letting by serendipity as it was raining and we needed shelter and food. The owner see us contemplation the menu and beconed us in. The service was prompt and friendly. I really liked the pancake too: texture, gumminess and sweetness were all just right. The bacon was delicious as was the gist cheese. I think they could focus on a couple address to take their pancakes up a notch though If they just carmelize the apples (or onions or whatever can be served carmelized, hot and on top) and serve on top rather than white little limp things inside the pancake. This would help with presentation and flavor as well as the serving temperature of the finished product (was not as hot as is like). Then I would have given 5 stars. The menu offers tons of toppings to mix n match, and if you draw on some of their sandwich combos you can do some really creative things! We also ordered a mango lassi but I found it to need more honey and mango flavor. It was much more lime and yogurt than I'm used to. Maybe it's a US thing? But the owners took the lassi off the bill when they saw I didn't drink it. Very thoughtful though it was an awkward scene. In summary I would definitely return and recommend but the presentation and finishing of the pancakes could use a small amount of polish to look and taste more delectable and hot.More
