Great food, service with a smile too. Right price too, only the portions are a little small. The restaurant is situated right at the back of the building and for this one cannot eat out.

Two stars - for food. Zero for Service. Wait staff is rude and takes forever to attend to you. There were three people working but only one waiter to take order, other two were just doing other tasks (bussing tables etc). Food was good, Dishes were good, Nan and Roti were mediocre. Visited once and didn't want to go back... More

It was a wonderful place to try authentic Indian Food, especially Punjabi Food at Gandhi. The owner Mr. Gandhi is a cheerful person with caring attitude and serves food with a smile.

Don't be put off by the fact that you have to travel down a very long hallway to get to this restaurant. Menu has large selectio and the owner was very helpful. Samoas were great as was the mixed grill.

Located down what appears to be a long, dirty back alley we were not disappointed when we finally arrived. The food was of a good quality for the price. Not somewhere that is well sign posted so you will have to be vigilant if you wish to find it. For the price paid we got good sized portions, certainly nothing... More

Decent Indian restaurant in the heart of Amsterdam. Nice view over Damrak if you can nab a window seat. Unfortunately, we were the only customers, though it was only 6pm. Food was ok, nothing to write home about, though decent enough. Portions weren't the biggest ever though. Price was slightly high for what we got.
