It wasn't too busy, and could easily get a seat. The guy at the bar was chatty and put on a nice selection of dub music. It's not a place i'd likely visit again, but it's above the average of most coffee shops.

I like to stop off in Barneys whenever in Dam. It ain't my favourite coffeeshop, simply because of how busy it gets. But I like the staff, nice weed and cool atmosphere there.

Like a magical mystery tour into your own mind. This is Willy Wonka meets Bob Marley crossed with the shamrocky nature of owner Derry. All of this before you have even tried anything they sell. Have been there umpteen times and even though I don't visit as much anymore, the Place has memories for me, fruity fantastic memories bases on... More

Barney's Uptown is my favourite place to end a break in 'Dam. Polishing off the trip with one of their amazing burgers and a couple of milkshakes (which my partner says are the best she's ever had! - a big compliment from an American who's roadtripped most of her home continent). Smoker-friendly (but do note they are not a licensed... More

What to say. That being high inspires me to write reviews? Yea it does. Once every few years it's good to go to places like these preferably with close friends

Nice place good smoke, tables are tiny though!! And girls working on the drinks are too rude, kills the buzz of the place !!! If they where made of chocolate they'd eat themselves, Also the cellar door opens up next to the bar and is left open, so if you're out of it make sure someone's looking out for you... More

Not very central but totally worth the walk. We thought Tangerine Dream was most excellent. We also really enjoyed their range of milkshakes and in particular, the chocolate milkshake. The staff were always super friendly and the service was good. Really enjoyed the music and the general atmosphere. Without a doubt, this was my favourite coffeeshop in Amsterdam.

Went here with a group of friends. A little small but the 5 of us fitted comfortably. Milkshakes were good, so good I had two ;)

Thank Fabio C
