I was craving Mexican food and we found this gem on Trip Advisor. What a find it was! Very relaxed and funky restaurant with a lovely waiter! We had the chicken nachos and the chicken burrito! Seriously the best Mexican I think I have ever eaten! If you are wanting a relaxed atmosphere and great food, look no further!

If you want to eat here then it's good to book or get there early as it's not a huge restaurant. The food was delicious and the service was great! Good choice of starters and main courses. Would definitely go again.

Mexican place, with a decent look...nothing spectacular! They have good gins (didn't taste the margarita). We had a few drinks with Nachos (which were good but I've had better) but the chicken wings....owh the chicken wings!!! So so good....would go back just for them!!

Small restaurant with two floors, I'd advise getting there a bit early on because it fills up really quick especially with people coming in for cocktails.....which are amazing. Staff are super friendly and whilst they have a small menu, what they offer is great. Wings, ribs, nachossteak etc. Service got a tad slow later on in the evening however it... More

Our team had their team outing here. The starters were really good, a mix of spare ribs, shrimps and nachos. On the other hand, the main dishes were not so great. Some of us had the steak while the others some burgers. Both were not really great but not that bad either so all in all: average. The staff were... More

That was delicious. Starter, main, side, cocktails and wine was less than £40! I will be dreaming about the catfish for years to come!

The Snappers is located on a hippster Amsterdam area with many local and very close to the Rembrandt Square with many Club's. So a dinner at Snappers is a very good choice before starting the night. Th efood is delicious and also the price. In the other hand, the alcohol is very expensive. We spend for a good dinner and... More

The one thing that rum lovers will find in Amsterdam is the lack of good quality rum. At several bars I have been asked, what is spiced rum when I asked for that. This bar, however, was different. They have a great selection of rum plus the service is amazing. The bartenders know what they are doing, especially Edwin (I... More

We came here with friends on a recommendation and we had a totally nice start into the evening. The drinks are hard and big and maybe not the best booze in the world but it fills your belly with the warmth you need and the personal always brings more. Take care with the 4 people drinks, we had a Zombie... More

The ribs were wonderful and tasty! Nachos were flavorful also. Love how this place is tucked down an alley with outside seating. Quick service too!

The characteristic building at number 21 in the famous Reguliersdwarsstraat in the city centre of Amsterdam has a warm and relaxed ambiance. The interior has a retro look with a cheerful Mediterranean-Caribbean twist. The large bar with an extensive collection of spirits jumps right in the eye and invites you to drink one of our cocktails or just an ice cold beer. The menu consists of classic dishes, with an emphasis on comfort food. As a starter we serve for example a crispy Soft Shell Crab in tempura or Quinoa salad with figs, blue cheese and bacon. For the main dish we can not miss the Red Snapper: the fillet grilled with a Caribbean salsa and served with a cous cous salad. Or do you prefer a Surf 'n Turf with Diamond Fillet and Black Tiger Prawns? We serve also all time favorites with a "Snappers twist" as Fish & Chips and juicy BBQ Ribs. The prices of the entrees remain all under 10 euros, the prices of the main courses range from 12 to 18 euros. Oscar Steginga responsible for the cocktails, has made a beautiful cocktail menu including classic tiki and tropical cocktails. He works with lots of fresh fruit and homemade juices. And you can taste it! Take for example the Big Bamboo, including a mix of pineapple, overproof rum and Havana 3y. He uses homemade syrups such as rice syrup in the Healthy Pluym (Ketel One Vodka, green tea, prosecco and lemon in it). Furthermore, there are all sorts of Gin & Tonic combination served in perfect harmony.
