La Pureté is a quaint little coffee shop on Vijzelstraat just across from the Amsterdam City Archives building that I enjoyed during a recent stay in the city. Opening hours are 8am to 5pm (Monday - Friday) and 9am to 5pm (Saturday and Sunday). This is a neat little place with good coffee and enjoyable art displayed on the walls.... More

A lovely place we found by accident. Very relaxed and pleasant interior, might well have the best Vietnamese coffee outside of Vietnam and a great choice of other coffees as well as teas. Perfect to enjoy a coffee or tea and a savory or sweet bite to eat.

We got here by mistake and came in just because it started to rain. The place is a very pleasant surprize, with a nice variety of tees.

Christmas day. In search of a bite to eat. La Pureté appears, bordering downtown Amsterdam. Unpretentious. French as it is in Vietnam. Fine baguettes. Very nice home made cakes and pies. And our first Vietnamese coffee. Really nice! Recommended for food, drinks and peace of mind, as a regular puts it.

My friends and I stumbled upon this cafe while looking for hot drinks to warm our hands on a wet and windy day. The staff was the friendliest I met on my whole trip. The café is so snug and cozy and has a cute little additional sitting area upstairs. They have a wide selection of snacks and drinks. I... More

A small place with a great coffee to have a break! Take a chair against a window, look at the street life and slowly taste your coffee.

Thank Paweł M
