This cafe serves a good breakfast in a really nice location. It seems to be quite popular place to stay when there are some concerts, and therefore it is ideal for a morning cafe and breakfast.

Lovely lofty conservatory with chandeliers attached to the concert hall. Varied menu including shredded duck. Lovely staff, friendly and helpful. Very convenient for a break while visiting Van Gogh, Stedelijk or Rijksmuseum.

Very busy pre theatre performance. Friendly efficient staff. Recommended for interval drinks. Fast service and nicer than the theatre bars.

There was a limited choice on the breakfast menu however food served was excellent and staff very efficient. If you like bread go the full breakfast which is served on a tower for you to self-serve.

I don't know the answer as we just stumbled across the venue at lunch time. The advice from the Dutch guy sounds good. The staff, as most Dutch people do speak excellent English. Hope you have a wonderful 70th celebration!
