It's a whole-grain bakery that also offers sandwiches and pastries. I tried some whole-wheat rolls and an outstanding apple tart pastry (see my picture). Nice that it opens early as well!

Next to the bakery the terrific people at Hartog opened a sandwich shop for (of course) wholegrain sandwiches. Great taste, not too much choice (this is positive!) and nice service too.

Amazing wholemeal bread. Worth the 15 minute cycle. The staff is friendly, knowledgable, and helpful.

Everything about Hartog is great - they have a fair selection of breads that are all tasty. They aren't as cheap as other bakeries, but the bread they make is honest and has no additives. If you're there, give their pastries a try as well...More

I just love everything at Hartog's but it's way too expensive unfortunately. Especcialy the "muesli-bread" can't be beaten

My sister and I visited here for breakfast and it was amazing. They have a good variety of breads and treats worth checking out.
