We sat outside next to the canal and had a long leisurely lunch watching the boats go by. the staff were friendly and accommodating, and the lunch menu was lovely. We went back twice and were not disappointed.

This is a good place to go for a cup of coffee in the morning. You will see that the locals from the area also visit Baton. Coffee is excellent and with sunny weather sit outside. However, inside is fine too. There are enough (Dutch) newspapers when you are bored. For us it is a regular morning stop. Service this... More

This is a several story corner cafe in a cute shopping district. The decor is creative and eclectic - contemporary artwork, wooden tables and crystal chandeliers combine to make a fun, relaxing place. We had a delicious Spinach & Gorgonzola Soup served with dark bread & olive tapenade. Along with soft drinks and specialty coffees, our meal was very inexpensive,... More

It took them more than 30 minutes and a reminder to bring me my baton breakfast. Clearly, the waitress forgot about me, but she didn't offer me anything for such a long waiting, nor did she even apologise. So I had to eat the breakfast with a half of the cold coffee cup, which wasn't nice at all. The croissant... More

My wife says it is the best coffee she has had in Amsterdam but I would say that the menu is limited. Most of the breakfast options are based on a croissant... More
