Me and my friends always go here for a chill night out. They have a nice live band on Sunday and the bartender is very friendly. It was my friend's birthday one time and he did a shot with us every time!! Time flies in this cute bar/cafe.

After footslogging around the 'grachts' in pursuit of open garden weekend sites we needed a rest and refreshments. This is a good traditional cafe that didn't disappoint. Quick service and low prices, with a nice location on the Amstel Blauwbrug to sit outside and people-watch.

Visited this cafe a couple of times on my recent visit to Amsterdam and was very impressed. The staff ensured we were served quickly and the drinks were excellent. It's a tiny little cafe with a great atmosphere where both locals and tourists seemed welcome. Lovely bar snacks, good selection of quality beers both foreign and local.

This place looked nice from the outside so I decided to have lunch here. Loved it from the minute I walked in. A small place and has a bar, cute, small tables and unique decor that is homely. I ate the melted Brie, walnut and honey panini and it was delicious. Doesn't take international Mastercard though.

We found this lovely bar while killing time on sunday evening. Were pleased to find live music on in the corner. Really friendly crowd, cosy old-style bar with piano, arty stuff on the walls etc. The chardonnay is good here!

Having been here twice before I was really excited to take my boyfriend for a visit. This was the last place we visited on our city break. The decor has a continental lived-in feel to it and is a great retreat from the more high-energy restaurants/cafes. You can tell the owner has prided themselves on collecting an eclectic range of... Just the way we liked it, good cappuccino, nice home made chocolate cake. Perfect for chilling, reading a newspaper or just gazing at the passing crowds... bedankt!

We stopped off here for an afternoon beer and really enjoyed the experience. The bar is very friendly and cosy with nice staff and a relaxed atmosphere. Very conducive for chatting and relaxing. Good spot for people and bike watching. Highly recommended.

Buzzing with life and laughter, newspapers, magazines and games, this is a great bar with some lovely beers served up by friendly smiling bar staff. The view out of the window is onto a bridge over the Amstel, but somehow you seemed to be engrossed by the atmosphere within the bar itself. Luckily, we were staying on a houseboat just... More

This was an absolutely fantastic brown café that we found after we had just came out of the amazing GOLLEM CRAFT BEER BAR. We were heading over to Waterlooplein when the snow started swirling around on a bitterly cold night so we popped into here for a quick beer. Make no mistake ,this is one wonderful bar, superb old furnishing's and... More
