The best ramen I have ever tried. In the summer there is a big list to have a table. Arrive soon or very late.

When allone or with a friend it is good to go to this place. The atmosfeer is neat and the food so healthy and tastfull. My favorite in Amsterdam There are no desserts, which is 😕 but better for my figure. Nice Nespresso though🙂

We ran into this ramen restaurant by accident and we were pleasantly surprised by the quality of ramen. It was as if we were in Japan! We wished we had extra room left for other dishes on the menu. Recommend to show up by six o'clock to avoid a wait list.

The ramen was good. However, the ventilation inside the restaurant can be improved. By the time I finished my bowl of ramen in pork broth, I was covered in sweat and ready to leave.

The ramen and drinks were excellent. Service was quick and graceful and the restaurant and bathrooms were very clean. Large variety of ramen.

We arrived at this place on a nice warm spring evening and there was a queue. We did not have to wait long and the food was worth the wait. They do lovely ramen at a reasonable price for Amsterdam's standards. The ingredients were fresh and the portions generous. The place has a basic décor, but is a pleasant informal... More

We enjoyed our meal at Fou Fow. The food was excellent, even though I should not be allowed to eat noodles in public. The only negative is that there are too many tables in too small of a space. Every table was packed; a testament to how good the food is, but it made for a slightly less enjoyable experience... More

This noodle bar is so good! In the middle of the Jordaan, we went for lunch. The service is friendly. Have to go back soon to try the rest of the menu.

Stumbled upon this place whilst walking through the Jordann area. Surprised by the negative reviews as I found the food very tasty! Had the classic Tonkotsu noodles, broth was very good! Not a place for a big get together as quite small. On the whole, it was great!

Went here for dinner at 18:00 and we were just in time, 'cause shortly after people had to wait to be seated. We had two portions of gyoza and a large ramen each and we were satisfied afterwards. The fried gyoza were more flavoursome than the regular ones and the ramen were good, though lacked some depth in flavour. Service... More

Staying in Jordaan

Neighborhood Profile
One of Amsterdam’s most preferred outdoor markets and some of the city’s favorite watering holes are but two of the many reasons to save ample time for a stroll through this especially convivial warren of narrow streets with its unfair share of quirky shops and quality galleries. Historically a haven for the working class and emigrants, these days the Jordaan is better known as an enclave for artists and designers. As popular as the Jordaan is as a destination for locals and out-of-towners alike, the area never feels particularly touristy or overrun with outsiders. A highlight even for long-time Jordaan residents, be sure to accept any invitation to step within one of the area’s beloved courtyards or to have a sneak peek inside one of its many working studios.
