A cosy and very friendly restaurant. Superb food and excellent service. Somewhere I would recommend to anyone in the area. Excellent service and happy to chat. Just got the bill and can honestly say great value.

Read good reviews and popped in for some Thai cuisine but was disappointed. Taste was rather flat. I have had Pad Thai (which my mother ordered) in Thailand, and all around the world, and this is definitely not at the top. I was left with a bad taste at the end when they didn’t have the herbal tea my mother... More

Landed in Amsterdam earlier that afternoon and strolled around the city despite the windy and cold weather conditions. It was close to dinner time and found this gem on TripAdvisor! I had the Thai Sping Rolls and Mussaman Beef. It was the perfect dinner to warm up and relax. Service, provided by Eric and staff, was outstanding as well. I'm... More

All food is freshly prepared and the ingredients are al dente. The prices are very reasonable. No pretensions, just a quick bite.

We stumbled upon this restaurant while on our way from the Van Gogh museum to the station. It is in a street with a lot of restaurants which is not always a good sign. However, the food was terrific, one of the best Thai curries I have had, the service was excellent, the waiter very friendly, the prices very reasonable,... More

Delicious thai food, lovely staff and a cosy atmosphere. Would say value for money. Whenever I am in Amsterdam and craving for thai food, thai phutakun is the place I would go.

My glass smelled like pee. They were not really good at costumer service, and didn't even say goodbye when we left (bear in mind that we left after just having drinks because we were so dissatisfied). The wifi was good though, and they brought us those white "cookies" right away, so that was nice.

Went there on a Sunday evening for dinner. Thankfully, we called and reserved upfront, because the place filled up quite soon and later we could see people waiting outside to get in. Its a small place. The food was fantastic! The Green curry with prawns is to die for! The massaman was nice as well. The host was friendly and... More
