Be sure to visit G's on your travels in Amsterdam, and do not forget to book as they get extremely busy! We were a bit late and they still seated us straight away. Food is absolutely divine - daydreaming about it ever since! The Spanish version of Eggs Benedict is a real treat. Do not miss out on this gem.

Great service, cosy and lovely food. Went for lunch. Seated quickly. Good choice on menu and very extravagant Bloody Mary, which was excellent. Highly recommend this place for food

Nice location in Jordan, away from all the tourists. Choose this place for some breakfast with bloody mary´s after a night out.

After doing research and being recommended G's we decided to head to G's for brunch. There was 4 of us and as we were on visiting Amsterdam we decided to book ahead - I'm so glad we did! Although they try their best to fit you in it is a small location and being so popular it does get busy!... More

Went to have lunch here this afternoon and I only have 1 word to describe it: wow. The food is great, hearty and overall delicious actually. Their cocktails are amazing and their service is nice as well. Chill, laid back place with good music, good food, good drinks and good people!

You really need to book, our get there just as they open, if you want to experience one of the best breakfasting experiences in Amsterdam. Tucked along a quiet street in Jordaan, you'll find this Mecca of great breakfast dishes. The Challah toast is a personal favourite. If you are feeling particularly brave, the Bloody Mary menu offers some great... More

These guys were really helpful, provided a gluten free option for one of our group and waited for us when we were having transport issues. Staff were lovely, food was good, was reasonably priced. Overall thoroughly enjoyable

After visiting G's in October, it was at the top of my list to return to this month after such an amazing brunch last time. I went for the chicken waffle burger and it was incredible. The service is great, the food and cocktails are great, it's the perfect place. No future trips to the city will be complete without... More

This really great brunch place just west of the centre of Amsterdam serves delicious brunch items plus amazing cocktails. They also serve lunch through the week and have other events on certain evenings. It's a bit of American/British hipsterism for locals and expats alike who're looking for the best brunch in town!

Staying in Jordaan

Neighborhood Profile
One of Amsterdam’s most preferred outdoor markets and some of the city’s favorite watering holes are but two of the many reasons to save ample time for a stroll through this especially convivial warren of narrow streets with its unfair share of quirky shops and quality galleries. Historically a haven for the working class and emigrants, these days the Jordaan is better known as an enclave for artists and designers. As popular as the Jordaan is as a destination for locals and out-of-towners alike, the area never feels particularly touristy or overrun with outsiders. A highlight even for long-time Jordaan residents, be sure to accept any invitation to step within one of the area’s beloved courtyards or to have a sneak peek inside one of its many working studios.
