We were on a city break in Amsterdam, and having googled places the locals like to eat this came out in the top five.
We didn't book, just rocked up at 7.30pmish, and were able to sit outside and watch the world go by as we ate. Great place to people watch.
The food was delicious and the staff friendly and attentive without being intrusive.
Would definitely recommend. I would suggest taking a warm top out as evenings in Amsterdam get chilly early, as we found to our cost sitting on the main road in summer clothes. This did not spoil our evening though.

A fantastic restaurant. Brilliant food. Prices very reasonable We were made to feel welcome by the owner and attentive staff.
We were in Amsterdam forca week This place was so good we ended up dining 5 times!!!

One of the best Argentine restaurants I've seen. The empanadas are reminiscent of Chilean ones but have a surprising flavor, the chimichurri sauce was, without a doubt, the best I've tried in my life. The meats came at the right time and in generous portions. Very good service. I would like to go back there, too bad I live in Brazil.

We were looking for a good steak restaurant and Lá Brass came recommended by a local friend. We were not disappointed. It’s a family run steakhouse. We all (5) went for the ribeye, T bone, and fillet mignon. All tasty, tender and succulent. Washed down by a nice bottle of Argentinian red. And reasonably priced. We will come back and check again before the five stars are given. Recommend it.

By chance I went to this restaurant, very nice and friendly owners. Excellent meat, my daughter ate a hamburger and found it delicious. Being a burger lover and being picky about the quality of the meat means it's worth it. Spinach is also good. Compliments.

Our two couples were in Amsterdam for three days and made reservations here at La Brasa for our first night...best decision we made all trip. The food is terrific, the service was excellent and the wine was delicious. And the best part was that this terrific meal was exceptionally reasonably priced. Definitely would go back here again and if meat is your choice of meal...La Brasa should be your first stop.

We all really loved this place. The steak was amazing. Great potatoes bravas. My husband had a burger that was very good. The service was good. I would definitely come here again.

We where looking for a nice meat restaurang and this restaurang had a nice reputation. Unfortunately the expectations were not met this evening. The calamare were tasteless. The barbeque rib tasted good but the meat was not that tender as you should expect from somone knowing how to grill (The meat shall nearly fall from the bones).

The food was amazing,. We ordered the gambas at Ajo and the bread. It was very good. THe Gambas picantes was exemptional. We also had the 3 carnes and it was very good.

We enjoyed our 400gr. Entrecôte for around 30 bucks after a great day in A‘Dam at La Brasa.
This small, friendly, owner-run restaurant away from the usual tourist traps is definitely worth the 15-minute walk from Centraal Station.
If you value quality over fancy presentation, you'll get your money's worth here: a perfectly grilled steak with a wonderful homemade herb oil dip.
The friendly and courteous customer service comes free of charge.
Look no further if you're craving meat. La Brasa is the gem you've been looking for.

A 15 minute walk or less(depending on pace) from Amsterdam Central Station, this place has lots of vibe and menu variety. Friendly owner and quick table service, generous and DELICIOUS food, highly recommended
