Food was not even regular, The sauce wasn't fresh. The waiters were in a bad mood, not a single smile was given.

I visited here one evening after a long day of sightseeing and indulgence into all the luxuries the wonderful city of Amsterdam has to offer. On first glance of the menu I was a little taken aback by the price which seemed a little steep, although I was in the middle of a major city in Europe. After closer inspection... More

Service was good. We shared a mixed meat plate and savored every bit of it. Be sure to order the chimichuri sauce with the steak! Brought back memories of eating from the Asado in Buenos Aires....

We had steak of course with 1/2 lt of Malbec wine. I had an entrecote and my husband had a rib eye steak. Steak was fine. Although we asked it to be cooked well done it was medium, so they cooked again. Staff is perfect, very friendly very kind. Mushroom sauce is also very nice.

Came here after an awful experience at Braziliaans over the road. Staff were polite and helpful. Food was tasty and unlimited ribs really meant unlimited! Yum

Rude waiters who mock customers in front of them in their own language - they should be aware that 1. People can understand them and 2. Even those in our group who didn't know their language understood we were being made fun of as we didn't want full main meals at 10.30pm after a 20 hr flight! Go elsewhere. Food... More

Staying in Red Light District (De Wallen)

Neighborhood Profile
Red Light District (De Wallen)
To visit Amsterdam and not explore De Wallen (the Dutch name for this area) or to go only to gawk at its saucier aspects would mean missing the opportunity to view some of the city’s most picturesque canals, historic landmarks, and impeccably presented examples of traditional local architecture – not to mention Amsterdam’s own Chinatown, Europe’s largest Buddhist temple and more local treasures. Sure, there are some less salubrious activities drawing the curious to this age-old part of time. Nevertheless, the Red Light District is still a very safe and incredibly fascinating area where at the turn of a corner you can be transported from the dingy glow of modern day neon red to a glorious 16th century Delft blue dreamscape.
