I wouldn't change a thing about this place... The food is the most yummy of all, the atmosphere is great, the staff is nice and friendly. We will come back to Amsterdam and this is the first place we will go. Shout out to the chef for the amaaaazing breakfast we had. Came back twice

Best breakfast place in Amsterdam, fresh scones amazing jams and great coffee. Definitely recommend! It gets busy that is the only drawback!

Ordered the fried eggs with bacon and cheese on gluten free bread. Delicious! Honestly the best breakfast I've had in Europe. Nice atmosphere. Kind staff. Highly recommend!

We had a nice time here, great location, friendly staff and reasonable prices. (in my opinion) The breakfast was on point, we had three homemade jams to choose from and a free orange juice to the menu. Place was not crowded when we came here (Tuesday 11:15) and we got served pretty fast.

We missed breakfast on the ship the morning we arrived in Amsterdam, but were lucky enough to stumble into this amazing cafe in the central city, which used to be a former tea and coffee warehouse. For about 10 Euros my husband got a yogurt-granola breakfast with goji berries and nuts, a coffee and fruit juice, while I ordered delicious... More

this tiny jewel tucked into the end of the street serves the best English high tea around. it is always crowded, parking is impossible but well worth a trip into the outskirts for lovely food.

We went there for breakfast. We had to queue for 15-20 min in order for someone to find us a table. Afterwards we had to wait for another 30 min after someone came and took our order and after we asked two different waiters. The breakfast overall was really good and the prices reasonable. We had a warm apple pie... More

The restaurant is located in the city center and consists of two storeys...nice location also, nice wooden furniture. Service was just average, food was on the other hand very good, especially mentioning the homemade jelly of which we had to buy two glasses to bring home. Overall good experience

We found this restaurant by accident on our first day in Amsterdam. We stopped to have a coffee / tea. However, the place has immense charm and the card is very interesting, so we return the next day to take our breakfast there. We have not been disappointed. The dishes are very good and the staff friendly. The scones are... More

We went there twice in a row to have breakfast, I suggest you to go there before 10 am otherwise you're going to wait a lot. Really tasty homemade jams.

Staying in Red Light District (De Wallen)

Neighborhood Profile
Red Light District (De Wallen)
To visit Amsterdam and not explore De Wallen (the Dutch name for this area) or to go only to gawk at its saucier aspects would mean missing the opportunity to view some of the city’s most picturesque canals, historic landmarks, and impeccably presented examples of traditional local architecture – not to mention Amsterdam’s own Chinatown, Europe’s largest Buddhist temple and more local treasures. Sure, there are some less salubrious activities drawing the curious to this age-old part of time. Nevertheless, the Red Light District is still a very safe and incredibly fascinating area where at the turn of a corner you can be transported from the dingy glow of modern day neon red to a glorious 16th century Delft blue dreamscape.
