Ive been to Amsterdam several times now and never fail to visit Prix D'Ami. The location is great, 2 minute walk from the station. Great variety here and excellent options for sitting an relaxing for short or long periods of time. Next time I go im sure ill visit Prix d'Ami again.

A stop here is mandatory if you're getting off at central station, the smell will lead you there! Probably one of the best positioned, and for this the prices are a little higher compared to other coffee-shops, but the quality is indeed better, if you consider it's in the very centre of the city! The staff is always pretty cold... More

Probably the best cafe I've been to in Amsterdam, good weed, even better hash, drinks are good especially the slush ! Massive place has 4 floors of sitting areas, a bit hard finding perfect seating but can understand with it being probably the best cafe in the area.

Comfy lounge upstairs, much lighter than other dark crowded lounges. The staff were helpful and explained everything in English. Now that I know better will not rent a glass piece next time and just use the rollers. Oh, and they had the longest ready rolls!

I visited Prix d'Ami daily while in Amsterdam. I both sat in and ordered to go and thoroughly enjoyed the experience both times. Upon entering the cafe, you are met by a security man who checks your ID, I met two of the security members while visiting and both were upbeat, full of humour and a joy to speak to.... More

My third visit to this coffee shop. Great selection of hash & marijuana. Prices are fair. 4 floors to satisfy everyone's needs. One floor offers 3D horror movies with awesome lounging couches. Free Wifi and friendly staff. You will need you ID and must pass thru a security scanner. Don't bother to bring larger bags as you will be searched.... More

Staying in Centrum

Neighborhood Profile
Amsterdam’s buzzing hub, with its sprawling network of tram rails and a seemingly constant flow of tourists and commuters, yields convenient access to some of the best sightseeing, shopping, and street life in Europe. Closest at hand are the Royal Palace, the quaint shops of Haalremmerdijk, the pedestrianized zones Kalverstraat and Dam Square with popular neighborhoods such as the Red Light District, and the Canal Ring hardly more than a moment’s stroll away. With the well-connected Centraal Station as Centrum’s base, it's easy to travel farther afield via one of the city’s iconic trams.
