We took quite a large group here for a work dinner. The location and building are fantastic and a great place to take international guests. Because we had a bigger group we only had a very limited selection of courses which was fine but given...More

Lion Noir is located in the street just behind the Flower Market, in the heart of Amsterdam. The restaurant has a very cosy decor and eclectic, but makes the client feeling in a beautiful warm spot since the first step in the room. The menu...More

Everything about this restaurant says it should be great. I loved the interior, menu is fanstatic (and food was excellent) and it should promote an excellent vibe. Like other reviewers I concur that the service handicaps this place quite a bit. We had a relatively...More

Great family moment spent in this restaurant. Relax and elegant atmosphere. Orignial and tasty food with a nice selection. Good wines. Maybe do a tasting menu (3 or 4 courses) for one person out of 6 in the group. Recommend for friend or family dinner,...More

Unfortunately a disappointing experience. We were really looking forward to this night out and felt totally let down by the quality of service. None of our sides arrived and we had to go up and ask why on two occasions. Serving staff were rude, abrupt...More

Good food in a nice interior, service is good. I had the sea bass with squid ink risotto and didn’t regret it. My wife had the duck and it was excellent. €100 with coffee and dessert, no starters.
