We visited De Haven van Texel on a rainy November evening. My partner had the house bock beer with his meal and enjoyed it even though he’s an IPA guy. The meal was delicious - especially the fries and mayo!

The food is SUPERB at this hideaway. Don't be in a rush. If you want authentic dutch food - this is the place. Sit back and relax. Pea Soup is to die for. Everything is home made. Nice portions. They will not rush you.

Lovely dinner with friends while visiting beautiful Amsterdam. The restaurant is located on the canal. You could have cocktails al fresco, but the tables were a bit small to dine. The food was traditional Dutch fare and the prices were very reasonable!
