I visited Laliberla years ago and was happy to see restaurant remains a small cosy establishment. It has traditional Ethiopian decor and some photos on the walls. The staff were friendly and managed to maintain a good pace of service despite a busy restaurant. The food was excellent and very good value. The lamb beg was very tasty.

This is literally THE BEST Ethiopian restaurant you could possibly try!!! The decor is authentic. The menu has a wide tasty vegetarian choice (I have tried everything in their menu). The food is nice and filling and inexpensive! The waitress is such a sweetheart!

Our hosts had invited us here as they had had a good experience in Laliberla. We choose four different dishes (2 vegetarian, 1 meat and 1 seafood dish) from the menu and the way it was served appeared to be typical Ethopian: all dishes were served on one big pancake. I was forewarned that we would eat the food with... More

A great Ethiopian restaurant, with authentic cooking and Ethiopian beer. We ordered the Tebs (spicy veal) and Debelek (combination meat and vegetables), all served over a big delicate pancake called injera. We finished the meal off with a great bottle of Ethiopian red called Rift Valley Syrah. Service is very friendly and welcoming. Love to return!

I thought the food might be too spicy for my taste. How wrong can you be? Loved the food - it's definitely worth waiting for - and the banana beer and the coffee. In fact I loved it so much I've bought an Ethiopian cookery book...

3rd visit and the food is always wonderful. A small restaurant which makes it cosy and intimate. Sometimes a bit of a wait for your food but it's worth it.

This very small Ethiopian restaurant has a very peculiar smell of spices and typical pictures offer an escape from europe. Here you can get a chance to try typica african cuisine, seerved on a big plate from which everyone eats with their hands! It is fun, delicious and cozy!! You have to try it!! Only peak, the portions are not... More

Visited this eaterie after receiving a tip from a friend and I'm so glad I did. I would have regretted not coming here. A family-run restaurant by Ethiopians, the place is very aesthetically done and the food is lip-smacking. The daughter of the owners, Rupka, was hands-on and deserves a special mention here because of the pleasant and vibrant way... More
