Good basic Dutch dishes which were very filling. The staff were very helpful. The banter was excellent.

We went twice to this close by eetcafe for dinner----having the lamb stew twice, and fried fresh fish and other wonderfully cooked meals---go for the specials every time!

We had been for a long walk in the morning and decided the stop for a late breakfast. Our choice was the omelette and we're glad we did. Two well presented large omelettes with lovely fresh side salads. The coffee was good too.

Very nice atmosphere Dutch Brown cafe in central Amsterdam. The servers were very friendly and the food was delicious. Locals and tourists alike attend the restaurant bar. Good selection of beers and I would recommend the Bordeaux Coffee. Free wifi.

This particular cafe had been recommended to us and we weren't disappointed. Super food, served with a smile - what more could you ask for!

Everything about Rosereijn is lovely. We were staying just off Haarlemmerstraat and getting familiar with different places to eat nearby. The menu was varied and inviting as was the ambience right off the bat. We had the fish of the day, hamburger, and kroketjes. There's a full bar, too. I travel to Amsterdam regularly and will be back to Rosereijn... More

We much enjoyed supper at this popular hostelry. There are seats outside for smokers and inside is warm and cosy. Gutsy food - liver and pork dishes. Tasty and homely. Not haute cuisine. Very popular. Rioja at 5 euros a glass. Good chips and ordinary side salads. Not expensive and good value. We would eat here again.

Neighborhood Profile
Centrum
Amsterdam’s buzzing hub, with its sprawling network of tram rails and a seemingly constant flow of tourists and commuters, yields convenient access to some of the best sightseeing, shopping, and street life in Europe. Closest at hand are the Royal Palace, the quaint shops of Haalremmerdijk, the pedestrianized zones Kalverstraat and Dam Square with popular neighborhoods such as the Red Light District, and the Canal Ring hardly more than a moment’s stroll away. With the well-connected Centraal Station as Centrum’s base, it's easy to travel farther afield via one of the city’s iconic trams.
