We came for dinner with our two young children. We were made to feel very welcome right from the start, and both waitresses were incredibly warm and friendly, and good with the kids. The four of us shared the "mixed starter for two", which was...More

As usual, the first thing we do when we're visiting a new town is check Tripadvisor for a good place to eat. The Vlaming is rated as one of the best. We made reservations from the hotel for 6 PM, which is when they open....More

It's typical of Amsterdam not to find traditional food, then we wanted to try something particular suggested by friends. Well: cozy and friendly atmosphere, good food (but not exeptional), right quality/price ratio. Nice way to spend dinner time in Ams :)

Such a great place - fine food, perfect service. and such a great atmosphere. We have enjoyed it so much . Anyone in the area of the Jordaan I would advice to get to the Lindengracht.

We had a wonderful experience at Vlaming eten & drinking last night . The weather was warm and a group was dining outside which is a great option if weather permits . We started with a smoked salmon appetizer and asparagus soup both were excellent...More

We stumbled upon this little restaurant while wandering aimlessly through the Jordaan area's canals. And what a great find it was. The gent who welcomed us in and served us was fabulous - his restaurant I suspect. He knew the menu well and described the...More

Make a reservation whatever you do. This is a popular place and always full. The owner and wait staff are wonderful and kind and the food was delicious. The toffee sticky pie was yummy and the appetizers were phenomenal! Small menu but a great variety...More

We had got lost trying to find Vlaming eten & drinken so when we arrived we were really cheesed off and hungry - but it was so worth it. The restaurant itself is small and the decor doesn't scream 'fancy' but the food quality was...More

Very good restaurant, definitely would recommend! First class service and food. The best meal my girlfriend and I had in Amsterdam, it made our visit most memorable. Thank you!

After reading all the reviews on tripadvisor and yelp, we tried this place while in Amsterdam last month. My husband and I started with a shrimp appetizer that was delicious and it came with bread and a garlic butter. The butter definitely tasted like garlic!...More

One of Amsterdam’s most preferred outdoor markets and
some of the city’s favorite watering holes are but two
of the many reasons to save ample time for a stroll
through this especially convivial warren of narrow
streets with its unfair share of quirky shops and
quality galleries. Historically a haven for the
working class and emigrants, these days the Jordaan is
better known as an enclave for artists and designers.

A family owned bistro where we serve nice dishes with a good quality - price relation in a friendly atmosphere. We serve here the "worldfamous" (anyway in Amsterdam) Sticky Toffee Pie and home-made Limoncello.
