Long walking tour (july 6 2016), stopped in for cappucino and pastry. Elegant pastry salon with coffee/tea, had an excellent nut tart with hazelnuts and pine nuts. Good place for a rest and pick me up .

Overall good quality and nice ambiance. Appeltaart average Cappuccino average, a button much milk and a little to little coffee. 2 cappuccino + appeltaart + brownie = €10. Reasonable priced for the center of Amsterdam

Recent trip to Amsterdam we had a light breakfast at this cafe. Courteous staff and prompt service. We both had a croissant and a cappuccino. Food is freshly made at this cafe and the coffee is very good. The desserts looked lovely as well. No wifi :(

I do love me some Kwekkeboom; a great start to the day in Amsterdam. Obeying the law implicitly, I buy a Strawberry & Pistachio pastry at the shop on Reguliersbreestraat and then up the alley to Coffee shop Saint. A milky coffee with hash, the strawberry & pistachio delight, and the gates of Heaven swing open. Yes! Kwekkeboom is the... More

Love the pastries from this place especially the croquette! They are absolutely to die for! Saw few people eat them with bread, but for me just as is with some mustard, is the best way to eat it. Want to try the ice cream due to the warm temperature but was full already, hopefully next time will come back again... More

If you want a quick bite I recommend this site, but if you're so much hungry it's not good 'cause portions are so little, beverages portions as well; if you don't want to take lines go very early in the morning, at that time there gonna be a lot of available places and almost all bakery products are fresh.

We have breakfast and an afternoon coffee and on both times everything was delicious!! Good presentations and good prices! Dutch services are not like in the US so don't expected the friendly personnel like we have in most American cities but it's fine!

Cute little bakery. In between Rembrandt square and the flower market. Gorgeous cakes. Bill came to €35 for 2 coffee's, 2 orange juice, 2 sandwiches and a cake. Have English menu's so was easy :)

Amsterdam is a gourmet destination and once you're here, you shouldn't miss out on the amazing bakery food. Kwekkeboom is a sort of franchise and they make some good quality pastries for very cheap. Excellent to go in the morning for your breakfast. Will set your day.

We came upon this lovely patisserie one morning. We were attracted by the Christmas sweet treats in the window. In need of a coffee we ventured in and tried the melt in your mouth delicate pastries and cakes. What a treat, thankyou
