Used this place a few times as it was opposite my hotel. Food was very nice every time. Cooked just as I ordered. Excellent service from every member of staff that served me. Was greeted like a regular client on my second and subsequent visits. Siutable for all types of customer.

I wanted to like this place more since its comfortable inside and the staff is friendly. My girlfriend's ribs were good, but my steak was a bit disappointing since it was a little overcooked and the chimichurri sauce was terrible. I might go back, but would order something else.

Visisted Dam Steak House in April whilst visiting Amsterdam. The restaurant is situated near to the Red Light District. It's a very small restaurant with toilets upstairs. Beware that like other places in the city, the staircase was very narrow and winding so some with mobility issues may have struggled! We did not have starters, but were given warm bread... More

We had a very quick breakfast here . We took a takeaway because we booked a tour next door. Pancake was tasty and freshly made. My husband 's tuna sandwich was very average.

I came here with some coworkers and got the sirloin steak. It was cooked the way I ordered it but lacked seasoning. Overall not bad but not the best. Nice for a quaint little restaurant.

Had a dinner with family. The restaurant steak is good, but the ambience is not good. Many visitors so I supposed the restaurant will be able to clean up a little bit.

We had a lunch there. It's ok nothing special. The waitress comes out when sees people looking to take them inside. The food was ok but the restaurant wasn't so clean.

Whilst visiting Amsterdam we passed by this "restaurant" (more like pre frozen and rewarmed crap) which advertised $11 ribs in the window. The waiter out the front convinced us to come in and shortly after took our order of which consisted of 3 serves of the ribs at what WE THOUGHT was $11 as advertised. We also ordered drinks and... Staying in Red Light District (De Wallen)

Neighborhood Profile
Red Light District (De Wallen)
To visit Amsterdam and not explore De Wallen (the Dutch name for this area) or to go only to gawk at its saucier aspects would mean missing the opportunity to view some of the city’s most picturesque canals, historic landmarks, and impeccably presented examples of traditional local architecture – not to mention Amsterdam’s own Chinatown, Europe’s largest Buddhist temple and more local treasures. Sure, there are some less salubrious activities drawing the curious to this age-old part of time. Nevertheless, the Red Light District is still a very safe and incredibly fascinating area where at the turn of a corner you can be transported from the dingy glow of modern day neon red to a glorious 16th century Delft blue dreamscape.
