My daughter and I both ordered the hamburger and question whether it was even meat. However, my husband loved his chicken satay and we all loved our drinks.

Love this place. Whether inside when its cold or raining or people watching outside In the warmer weather. Both their bar food and evening restaurant type food are excellent. Always check out their specials on the blackboard. Their fish dishes and soups are excellent. Usually...More

Made a reservation still had to wait 30 minutes at the bar. This shows why the Devil is a populair restaurant in ‘the Pijp’ in Amsterdam. Take the Saté with peanut sauce a real ‘Dutch’ treat.

De Duvel is on of our favourite "go to" restaurants. The changing menu is delicious and the staff always friendly. It can get busy and crowded so best to book ahead and if you want somewhere quiet, this may not be the place. It can...More

Duvel is a cosy place with pretty OK food, which can be crowded in the weekend. We had lunch there on Saturday and needed to wait endlessly for our order(s). Als our neighbour got his drink order only after finishing his food. Good point was...More

Went there with some friends to have lunch as they were visiting Amsterdam and they were super happy. Nice choices and the dishes were big and delicious. Drinks are also nice in the evening for this quiet place

As my friends had rented a place in De Pijp this restaurant was a short stroll past the park. We did reserve a table online in advance and we were seated promptly when we arrived. Place has a lovely and comfortable gastropub vibe to it....More

A perfect restaurant to visit if you're visiting Amsterdam located in 'de Pijp'. The staff is always welcoming and there is great food for a good price. The chef changes the menu each month and always offers different specials next to the menu. The menu varies from fish, to meat and vegetarian dishes. A real recommendation for a nice dinner or lunch. Later in the evening the bar is perfect to visit for some midnight drinks!
