A cute hole-in-the-wall right off busy Klaverstraat with incredible Dutch fries. Offers several Dutch and Belgian sauces as well - we had the phenomenal sate and applesauce.

It's all they do and they do it well! Many different sauces they can put on them.. each is charged to you. The Dutch fry their fries twice so they are crispier. Make the stop.

An unassuming hole in the wall type chippy which is a great place to grab a quick snack. The queue guarantees that you're eating fries that are hot and fresh. Eat them plain or choose from a long list of toppings, Mayo and ketchup bring...More

It was 15 years ago that we came here and had these world famous fries! One cup with curry sauce and one cup with peanut sauce. Peanut sauce is the winner! Hope to get back here a little sooner next time.

There was a long line that went fast. The fries were good, but not sure getting a large cone is best. A smaller one is better. Make sure you grab a fork - easier to eat.

I have traveled all around Europe trying different hot chips/frites/pommes and I always compare them to Vlaams. These are great chips. Well cooked and great size. Not as good as Australian chips but they are very close. Abit expensive for what they are but that...More

The fries are always freshly made to the perfect crisp. Me and my boyfriend got the classic, which is just mayo on top. I don't really eat mayo but it went perfectly with these fries! If you go to Amsterdam, you HAVE to go to...More

Fresh crispy golden fries with a soft interior. You haven't experienced the Dutch way if you haven't tried Vleminckz!

Amsterdam’s buzzing hub, with its sprawling network of
tram rails and a seemingly constant flow of tourists
and commuters, yields convenient access to some of the
best sightseeing, shopping, and street life in Europe.
Closest at hand are the Royal Palace, the quaint shops
of Haalremmerdijk, the pedestrianized zones
Kalverstraat and Dam Square with popular neighborhoods
such as the Red Light District, and the Canal Ring

They do it all on site. We peeked in and saw they had it all happening right there.

I think you might have already traveled by now. There is a train you could take from the airport that brings you to the railway station, and then you could take a tram or ferry depending on where you are staying.
