Every time I go to Amsterdam I need to go here. The chips are incredible. We always get a sauce called joppie it's like a curry Mayo that tastes so good. Can't wait to return here again it's that good!!!!

It is a Dutsch person that recommended me this place for my second trip to Amsterdam. He told me it was the best fries of Amsterdam... and he was 100% right. In a small typical Amsterdam street, this family owned business amazed us with my husband. At 11 am people were already queing to taste the homemade fries. Take them... More

Easy to find, right in the city centre and without a doubt the best satay sauce and chips in the city!

We bloody loved these chips! We weren't particularly searching for a place to eat but I think we came across possibly the best chips we've both ever had. We definitely recommend!!

Obviously following all the TA recommendations we tried here and were rewarded by perfect frites with peanut sauce. Crispy on the outside, creamy in the middle, the restaurant opposite allows you to sit in there and eat your fries if you buy a drink, a great link up.

This spot opens on Mondays at 12 pm , when we got there it was 12:01 and there was already a queue. Delicious homemade fries. You should try the dutch sauce called "joppiesause" it is really tasty. No place to eat inside, just for takeaway.

Tried in total three different vlaams frites stores in Amsterdam but the Vleminckx tops the other two by far!! Really nice and tastefull fries (not the traditional plastic ones you find in most fast food restaurants) plus great choice of sauces to combine them with!! Small notice that most of the days they close at 19:00 hrs (at least in... More

Been with friends and enjoyed very much! Highly recommended. We took the fries to the coffee place across and had great beer together with the fries.

I'm a frites fan, and have tried several "friteshaus" in Amsterdam. This was definitely one of the top ones! When my friends or family from abroad come over, this is a mandatory stop for all of us.
