I don't recommend going there as it's a very oily heavy pack of fries. Nothing special about the list of sauces at all, it's tastes exactly as a normal mayo or mustard may be less tasty. just adding a sign it's Belgian doesn't necessarily means it's any different. It has been a while since i've seen such arrogant and rude... More

Crispy fries with the right amount of sauce. We recommend the Oorlog (french fries with mayo, indonesian peanut sauce and raw onions). Queue was long but fast moving. It was the perfect first taste of Amsterdam for us.

Delicious chips. We bought a drink in the pub opposite where you can eat the chips if you buy a drink. Really friendly staff too.

Best fries with the best sauce! They're the best fries I've had. Oorlog sauce really recommended. I went there twice!

Each visit we have had to one of our favourite cities has included a pilgramage to what can only be described as the Mecca of the Belgian frite. Always a queue in our experience but don't be put off because the wait is worth it. Delicious fresh fries every time- soft and fluffy centre surrounded by a crisp exterior and... More

We stopped here for lunch our first day in Amsterdam. The reviews had definitely hyped the place up, but this is one case were the glowing reviews weren't overhyped. The fries were fresh, hot, and very crispy. The line wasn't too long when we arrived, but when we left after eating, it had gotten quite long but seemed to be... More

When visiting Amsterdam, I always drop by to have some fries. No other food available and only to take away. Nevertheless it is worth waiting, because there is always a (long) queue. The fries taste very well and so do the different sauces.

Let me be honest. .. I've had better fries in Texas. The sauces are pretty good though. If on Amsterdam try fries around the area..
