This place was around the block from our Airbnb. It's a nice cozy spot. I got the eggs with bacon and toast. Delicious and fresh. Everyone enjoyed their meals. Big portions.

If you look for a no nonsense restaurant close to the Leidseplein café George is a good place to visit. Location is fine, the food is okay and the service friendly. Fair prices for a good meal.

A super cute little restaurant in a Brasserie style right in the heart of the city. Easily accessed by public transport. The food on offer was fresh, tasty and had a seasonal touch to it. The crew is super friendly as well and will cater...to your needs and even make recommendations if prompted. Can pay with credit card or cash and perfect for a quiet dinner on a week nightMore

We had a nice dinner here before seeing a show. The menue is varied, with some nice dishes. We had a nice burger and fries that were served very quickly. A lot of the customers were obviously locals, as it is just off the beaten...track.More

This restaurant was directly across the street from the Marriott hotel we were staying at. We decided to eat close in due to rainy weather. We were instantly impressed with the decor and atmosphere, and the outside menu certainly looked interesting. Our witress spoke very...good English and was very attentive and friendly. After ordering some wine and examining the menu at length, we asked about the pasta special-spaghetti prepared in a parmesan cheese wheel (tableside) and topped with grated truffles. Needless to say, it was the most incredible pasta we've ever had! Hot, fresh, al-dente, and very tasty. If you don't find that necessarily appealing, the menu has many options and there's an extensive wine list. Service was great and the price was reasonable. I would highly recommend this restaurant if you're ever in the area!More

Met my best friend here for lunch. The place looks great: spacious with tables on each side. At the back there is a roof window with enough light. Service is slow... it takes a while to get served, to get noticed and before empty plates...are taken away. It was definitely not busy. The Caesar salad was served without chicken while I specifically ordered it with. I called the waitress and I only found out she was not speaking dutch after explaining the whole story. Would be nice if she told me immediately as that would have saved us some frustrations. Caesar was ok and I appreciated the warm chicken. Overall I though price quality is a bit out of balance: eg 8,50 eur for chocolate cake and ice. All and all I think it was nice to visit once.More

On the canal, a small place with a very hip, young vibe. The food was fine, served quickly. Good menu choices

Central location but very quiet and not touristic. Nice seating options for canal views as well as nice atmosphere inside.

Tried to get a table for a family with 3 young kids. Full, so we walked about a bit and came back 30 minutes later. I asked again and was met with a look that said “you again”. I was told 15 minutes to 30...minutes. While we waited table after table finished and left. Still no one called us. We asked and were told soon. My wife went in and asked. Finally I went inside and to the back where half the restaurant was empty. When I asked whats up, I was met with an aggressive response. Seriously! We left and will let our hotel know ever to recommend this awful place again to their guests.More

Stopped here after visiting the Maritime museum. Delicious food and very friendly staff. My husband had been craving a BLT and he raved about how good it was as he devoured it.😄 The chicken avocado sandwich was light and exactly what I was looking for...so late in the afternoon.More

Yes they have a bar. What exactly is "gluten" and why is everyone in America suddenly allergic to it?
