We were at the Rijk Museum store to buy museum tickets and decided to have lunch in the Cobra Cafe outside of the museum. I am not usually impressed with this type of establishment, filled with tourists, loud, poor service. Well, it was pleasantly filled...More

Located by the Rijk and Van Gogh museums makes for a nice break for lunch between visits to both of them. Food is good, service quick and friendly, and prices not unreasonable.

Highly recommend. We visited after doing the Rijksmuseum. We shared a crescent & fruit salad. Huge & fresh. Service was quick, polite & professional.

Just outside the Rijksmuseum. Can get very crowded but has lots of seating inside and out. Had beer and a sandwich. Service was reasonably quick, beer cool, sandwiches OK, staff friendly. Main advantage is location in museum quarter.

The cafe has nothing unusual nor spectacular in terms of food quality and service. The avocado salad was well created and fries sweet and crispy. It's the toilet door that impressed. For Euro$ 1, you use the cafe toilet and cost will be reimbursed and...More

After we have used some hours in Rijksmuseum, we needed both something to drink and eat. We choosed the nearest one, and we enjoyed both the food and the stay. The waiters were extremly polite and nice, and they made our meal to very enjoyable.

After the serenity of the Rijksmuseum, the Cobra Café is a bit of a shock to the system (others might say, it gets you back into the beat of 21st century Amsterdam again). Beers, wines, snacks -- all good, and the service is youthful and...More
