Absolutely beautiful food! Relaxed cosy atmosphere

Me and my partner had a meal here. It was about 8pm in the evening and it was not too full. The food was delicious. We had starters of brocolli cheese followed by lasagne for main. Both dishes were cooked to perfection and we litterally could not move once we had finished...we were stuffed. The... read more

The Staff were really friendly, all Italian ladies when I've been there, but this doesn't justify the behavior of the owner, he is not Italian and the chef either. So I was a bit confused in first instance " I would like to eat Italian but the person who is cooking for me is Egyptian" so I spoke with the... More

Three Italian ladies for wait staff. Friendly and helpful. Nice menu. Pastas, pizzas meats and seafood. I had the ossobucco. It was tasty and served with spaghetti with carrots and celery. The bruschetta was excellent. Will return. Good value.

Found this restaurant by chance. Had to wait about 10 mins for a table as they were busy. Went back on our last nigh for another great meal.

If you're looking for a good simple pizza this is the place to go. Service was good and the 1/2 litre of wine was pretty nice. We cycled and parked down the street to the left. Would go again.

Despite being located on one of the busiest tourist streets in the red light district this restaurant is very welcoming, service is efficient and the food is good value with a decent choice, albeit directed towards the tourists who throng outside. try the tourist menu for excellent value. Service is quick even when the place appears full. They also don't... More

Staying in Red Light District (De Wallen)

Neighborhood Profile
Red Light District (De Wallen)
To visit Amsterdam and not explore De Wallen (the Dutch name for this area) or to go only to gawk at its saucier aspects would mean missing the opportunity to view some of the city’s most picturesque canals, historic landmarks, and impeccably presented examples of traditional local architecture – not to mention Amsterdam’s own Chinatown, Europe’s largest Buddhist temple and more local treasures. Sure, there are some less salubrious activities drawing the curious to this age-old part of time. Nevertheless, the Red Light District is still a very safe and incredibly fascinating area where at the turn of a corner you can be transported from the dingy glow of modern day neon red to a glorious 16th century Delft blue dreamscape.
