Lovely friendly staff, food was delicious. Tables are too close to each other so it feels as though you are eating with the other customers, luckily we had a friendly couple next to us.

The food was okay, and the portions large. The pizza itself was pretty cheap, but 5 euro for 5dl water was quite expensive, and the price not visible in any way beforehand. Also, the staff had a hard time understanding us, as their English wasn't great.

This restaurant is lying to the public who is coming there, the food isn't good. We ordered a salad with parmesano and the cheese was without to cut and the salad full of some small black pieces that we haven't decided still what was. We asked also white wine of the restaurant and it was so bad also. The price... More

So we left Teddys Corner after a terrible service hoping for better here only to once again served a luke warm breakfast with cold bacon. So the bacon was sent back only to wait 15 mins and was given sausages..... Major communication breakdown....sent that back only to be served RAW BACON.. Never ever again!!

Very nice food and clearly freshly made. The staff are friendly and the decor is typical Italian. The bill was reasonable for two starters, mains and several drinks. I would recommend.

up a side street, in amongst other restaurants the front doesn't really stand out. but the prices are reasonable, the portion sizes are very generous and the pizzas were gorgeous. give it a chance, it won't disappoint!

Was so pleased when we came across this place while trying to find a place for dinner. A waitress was standing outside so we asked if they happened to have gluten free pasta, she spoke very good English (like everyone in Amsterdam) and said yes. Portion sizes were very generous and the food was very tasty. The decor was beautiful... More

Came here with my sister for an early evening meal. We were met by a young girl who gave us menus. Whilst we were looking at the menus we could see was far more interested in something else that was going on and was busy on her phone and talking to another girl who worked there. At this point we... More

Staying in Red Light District (De Wallen)

Neighborhood Profile
Red Light District (De Wallen)
To visit Amsterdam and not explore De Wallen (the Dutch name for this area) or to go only to gawk at its saucier aspects would mean missing the opportunity to view some of the city’s most picturesque canals, historic landmarks, and impeccably presented examples of traditional local architecture – not to mention Amsterdam’s own Chinatown, Europe’s largest Buddhist temple and more local treasures. Sure, there are some less salubrious activities drawing the curious to this age-old part of time. Nevertheless, the Red Light District is still a very safe and incredibly fascinating area where at the turn of a corner you can be transported from the dingy glow of modern day neon red to a glorious 16th century Delft blue dreamscape.
