I went here with a group of coworkers about seven of us. The place was a bit small but we sat outside. The food is simply the best Indian food ever and the garlic naan is the best naan I have ever had. I highly recommend this place!! Courteous and nice staff and family run place. I love it!

We missed our regular Indian food back home. For us, we ordered 1-main course with lamb, comes with rice & salad. And 2 sides- chicken & eggplant and a plain naan. Delicious and to finish off with a mango lassi.

We visited and had a lovely meal. The Indian cuisine was very good. Spice levels balanced, tremendous papa dams made of lentils and cumin seeds. Each dish was tasty, enjoyable and authentic. Service was hilarious. Owner was on his own in the restaurant. We think his sister was cooking and she did a great job. Owner took orders and advised kitchen... More

Mom is in the kitchen, the very observant son is velcoming us and guiding through the menu, shortly after bringing the drinks we ordered, waiting only a very short time to get the perfectly cooked food - we can warmly recommend this restaurant :-)

We had a great meal at this cozy Indian restaurant not far from our hotel in the Jordaan area. We could taste that this was homemade by the owner. We had soup followed by lamb and chicken marsala. Very friendly service. Wish we had an Indian restaurant like that at home.

Nice looking and small restaurant in a good location but portions were so tiny and service was not good at all. Lamd was quit okey but chicken tasted bad. We got only one small bowl rice for a 2 persons and 1 naan bread. What was that? We were eating at the Saturday night dinner so meals was that tiny... More

There really is a grandmother in the back doing the cooking. The food is real Indian, not tourist Indian. The presentation was pretty and you can ask for more spicy. The staff is friendly and helpful to people who are unfamiliar with Indian food. The atmosphere is very friendly and the staff made all people feel welcome. We ate here... More

Had a nice dinner, but the service was slow and just forgetful. The place was full of locals, which encouraged us, and indeed we had a very good meal, the set menu is 3 courses for 10.5 euros, a very good deal.
