Best cakes ever. Amazing apple cake- not too sweet. The best in Amsterdam. Try the ginger - twist cake was also amazing. That is also a Dutch speciality.

I went to Holtkamp to take some cakes and the lady was very helpful. The chocolate mousse cake was really nice, but the best was the cheesecake which is the same served at the Rijks museum

I went with my other half following a recommendation from a friend of his. It is a small patisserie. It is not a restaurant and has no seating so do not expect to go for a coffee and a cake. We bought some slices of cheesecake which was some of the best cheesecake I have ever tasted. Also bought a... More

Go and try these cakes, expensive between 2-3 euros for one, small size but amazing, Think even Mary Berry couldn't make these delicious bakes. It's only a small shop and doesn't have sitting area

A delicious, small bakery. If you love good pies and pattisiers you must visit it. You buy whatever else you want and go for the coffee next door.

We had an excellent piece of cake with pistachio and strawberry at Rijksmuseum and found out that it was baked at this patisserie so that's why decide to visit this place. The staff members were very friendly and attentive. There is no eat-in space here but after carefully explaining different cakes, the staff suggested that we could buy cakes here... More

i was there recently, as i was visiting some friends for dinner, and i wanted to bring dessert. It took me half an hour to choose something, because of the great variety and because everything looked and sounded fabulous! I must have asked the shop assistant a million questions, about what each cake was, then what she would recommend, what... More

Oh boy was this an experience! imagine a little shop with five customers and all Dutch but me. Everyone was super nice continuously asking me what I want and all I felt was being lost in a land of Cakes. It took me 10 min to stop wondering around and decide which cake I want to try. I wish I'd... More

I would fly to Amsterdam just to have their mocha eclairs, butter cookies, mango cake, shrimp croquettes, and all the other delights I didn't get a chance to try because frankly I ran out of money. They're pricey but worth every euro cent. I LOVE THIS PLACE!!!
