We wanted to eat proper Dutch food and came upon this place close to our hotel.. The food was excellent, and the service outstanding from a charming Dutch girl. The star of the show was their home brewed beer, which was a million miles away from the bog standard Heineken Euro- lager that generally prevails. Well worth a visit

I was with my sister at Leidseplein in Amsterdam and we really wanted to find a Dutch restaurant were we can eat an authentic Dutch food. We started walking around with no recommendation whatsoever until we hit this place. There was only one table outdoors so we were lucky. The service was superb and the waiter recommended typical Dutch dishes... More

This restaurant is only 3 meters wide but huge in atmosphere. Run by 2 ladies there own made beer is a real treat.Fish stew and lamb shank of the highest order and served piping hot. A real find amongst all the usual multis. A true taste of Holland.

What a find! Really good food, excellent beer (their own), good wine list and great service. What more could you ask? We liked it so much we went twice.

We had mussels and chips each, garlic bread, a beer and wine. We loved it! For less than what we would spend in Nando's, we had a very romantic dinner. The staff were lovely, helpful and attentive. You can see the kitchen, which I love in a restaurant. It has a nice, traditional feel and I'm glad we saved it... More

The "EET CAFE" sign was irresistible, and looked a bit more 'local-flair' than the surrounding tourist eateries. A little tight for space (but what in NL isn't) with good food, but the real surprise is their own local beer. This stuff is to Heineken what American craft beer is to Budweiser. If you're a beer drinker, you owe it to... More

This was a good place to try some Dutch style dishes. Service was quick and friendly. I had the dutch style steak and my wife had the meatball, both were delicious.

stumbled on this cafe when wandering around the area on Sunday evening. we did not have a reservation and were lucky to get a table. traditional Dutch cuisine at its simplest and best. Fantastic steak and pork loin with homemade fries. The chocolate nut pudding was to die for. Very reasonably priced .

Have been visiting this place more or less since it opened. Good food and reasonable prices. A warm welcome. Dutch people enjoying the Dutch dishes. But seriously terrible ventilation. Our clothes stank of cooking in fat- had to have them dry cleaned. Expensive for the one winter coat you have on vacation with you. Get the ventilation fixed guys!
