We went during the afternoon for afternoon tea and a snack. The owner and staff were very happy and helpful. Explained the origins of the restaurant, and the types of food served. There were more locals there than tourists which I think is s good...More

Stopped in after a long day of walking and exploring the city. Decided to have dinner and we chose the Dutch Stew, and water. The water was served with large slices of ginger root, mint leaves and lemon slices- it was delicious and refreshing. We...More

What a terrible place. Waited an hour for nachos with jalapeños which arrived without jalapeños. We’re given pickled olives instead & told we should “appreciate the show”. It turns out this charming bar is actually a seedy strip club. The bar manager is probably the...More

An authentic "Bruin café" in the Jordaan neighbourhood, small, dark and crowded. Service was fine but then again, we only went in for a drink. They had some nice memorabilia on the walls.

The food was excellent! The waitress could be a little bit nicer, but the service was okay. Overall a nice meal and a nice place, although not very bright.

We had to wait for almost an hour. When we asked about our meal we got the reply we're not at mcdonalds. Well excuse me! The food itself was very salty and covered in different sauces. The wait would have been ok, but the way...More

After wandering down the street to look for a place to eat, we came across this quaint restaurant. We ordered drinks and a couple of small appetizers with the intention of ordering dinner after. We ordered Old Amsterdam cheese and flames. The flames were fine...More

Stopped off here when on the beer bike. They put music on for us and had shots of jaeger at the ready with it being a friends birthday.

Thank Nikki .
One of Amsterdam’s most preferred outdoor markets and
some of the city’s favorite watering holes are but two
of the many reasons to save ample time for a stroll
through this especially convivial warren of narrow
streets with its unfair share of quirky shops and
quality galleries. Historically a haven for the
working class and emigrants, these days the Jordaan is
better known as an enclave for artists and designers.

Are you going Tuesday with? That would be so nice ... A nice walk through our Jordan with a good guide. Of course including a fresh apple pie with whipped cream and a cup of tea or coffee on arrival. DELICIOUS! First you walk through the northern Jordan and when you are full of fun facts that told the guide takes you back along the Blue Pan. A delicious buffet lunch (delicious! Sandwiches, salads ...) Is here waiting for you, with different fruit juices and milk.
