Been going to Broodje Burt's for 10 yrs+ when in town. Great food, cool vibe, outdoor tables. Fresh ingredients, lots of veg on every plate. Very casual, healthy, low cost dining. I highly recommend.

I loved this place SO MUCH I wanted to go back for a second meal in a 3 day trip!! The eggs were splendid indeed and I loved how they toasted their bread! It had just the perfect texture :) the salads were great as well!

Extremely good omlettes and fried eggs in the morning. The whole family work in the place, which is really sweet.

This place does food in its own way and is totally unashamed about it. I had the burger baguette and my friend had the roast beef sandwich. They were both delicious and came with huge salad portions. Great food, great value!

A no-frills hearty breakfast at a great price. I had the Brie sandwich and my husband had the mushroom omelette -- both hit the spot. The bread was also very good.

Stumbled on this place by chance on the day of our arrival in Amsterdam. My son was starving and we were looked by for somewhere for a quick bite. The food is fantastic. Hot and cold sandwiches with side salads. Huge portions and very reasonably priced especially for Amsterdam. Nice staff and very efficient service. It isn't touristy either. Highly... More

We have eaten breakfast/brunch at this restaurant for the past three days. Yummy! Our favorite was fried eggs with ham and cheese--fed two of us to completely full. Small place with great people-watching views out windows. (Don't be deterred by outside.) Fast too. You will go back!

We had a great lunch here, sat at the side of the canal. All the food served looked good and the portions are huge! Service was quick and friendly

We ordered omelette with mashrooms and cheese. It was really big and came with bread, big salad and sauce. The fresh orange juice was good also. Nice family traditional place :)

We first visited Bert and Ernie's a couple of years ago and was very impressed with the food and service. This time they had several tables outside and was very busy which is a testament to just how good the food is despite the place being tiny inside. This meant we had to wait a short while for a table... More
