If you want to try a joint or a lust cake, go there. Very cheap and high quality drinks and coffee. In addition, sit outside and buy a joint . It's Amsterdam , worth it

Best Coffeeshop in Amsterdam. Quiet, good menu and very helpful service run by a mother/daughter team. Offering organic selections and edibles. Also the coffee is great too!

Hi. I'm an expat doctor living in Amsterdam and this place is just up the road from me and solves my "Thursday treat" for a cannabis break. It is run by a Mom an daughter team who understand you may be naive to the use of cannabis and happy to make suggestions from the menu. On a sunny day sitting... More

This coffeeshop is run by a mother and daughter. Their service is very sweet and the products they sell are good. The place also has a good choice of tea and great sandwiches. Other than that it looks very happy and organic because it is full of plants & art =)

La Tertulia is such a wonderful Coffeeshop with a very warm, and inviting atmosphere. The service is amazing. The menu selection is good and everything we tried was brilliant. The coffee and milkshakes are delicious too. We sat in the upper floor seating area which had a lovely atmosphere about it and the view of the Prinsengracht from there is... More

We followed review to La Tertulia shop for some sponge cake but they don't sell them anymore. They did have some infused brownies which was nice. Most of Coffeeshops have the pre-packed brownie though. If you are amature like us only want to try something easy in a friendly environment, La Tertulia is a good place to go.

I and some friends visited Amsterdam and I figured that when you visit Amsterdam you should try some cannabis, being one of the few places in the world where it is legal. As someone that haven't tried any form of cannabis before, this place was great. The lovely ladies that worked there were really nice and forthcoming, answering all my... More

Staying in Jordaan

Neighborhood Profile
One of Amsterdam’s most preferred outdoor markets and some of the city’s favorite watering holes are but two of the many reasons to save ample time for a stroll through this especially convivial warren of narrow streets with its unfair share of quirky shops and quality galleries. Historically a haven for the working class and emigrants, these days the Jordaan is better known as an enclave for artists and designers. As popular as the Jordaan is as a destination for locals and out-of-towners alike, the area never feels particularly touristy or overrun with outsiders. A highlight even for long-time Jordaan residents, be sure to accept any invitation to step within one of the area’s beloved courtyards or to have a sneak peek inside one of its many working studios.
