So, where to start.. My girlfriend and I visited Bhatti Pasal on 2 different occasions, both for dinner. I will point out the only bad thing of our first visit: we hadn't ordered enough food (spoiler alert, I didn't make the same mistake twice). The...food is nothing short of amazing. If you like asian style dumplings (like Gyoza for example) you will love theirs. I'm a meat lover but their veggie dumplings are heavenly. I cannot stress this enough: if you really like dumplings, make sure you are ordering enough because you WILL leave the place wanting more. Beside the dumplings, the rest of the food is fantastic as well. They have some big plates to share that include a bit of everything. I've never tried Nepalese food before and I was blown away (if you like Indian food, but slightly different, than this is your spot). The thing that I love about the place is that is very small, has very few tables (so make sure you book!) and they are cooking right in front of you, you dont get a "home feeling" like this anywhere else. I'm not a big dessert lover but I ended up getting their carrot dessert as well and it was worth the gamble. If I would have lived in Amsterdam (or worked nearby the restaurant) I would have developed a serious addiction to this place. Who am I kidding, I think I already developed it as I'm thinking about the dumplings and the food right now as I'm typing this. Little side note: they dont serve alcohol, but they have 0% beer. I do enjoy a beer with my meal and the fact that is non-alcohol didn't bother at all. Besides, you can always pop in for a pint in a nearby bar after the meal. TLDR: book a table, order dumplings and a shared plate for main and ENJOY.More

Really good position in one of the most gezellige streets. Really friendly staff. Nice atmosphere inside with the open kitchen. Dumplings are really tasty, you can feel that they made the dough with love. The main dish (bhatti pasal thali) is made of different small...bowls of food, all of them really flavorful. I wasn't crazy of the cinnamon tea, but it's just my taste. To conclude it was the first time at a Nepalese restaurant and I really liked it, the price was fair.More

3 of us visited here last year while in Amsterdam for a weekend. Food was great, no tables free when we called in but they took my number and we waited in the pub across the road. Highly recommend!!

Welcoming and cozy restaurant, located in the very city centre of Amsterdam. The food is beyond amazing, we tried and recommend the vegetable dumplings (Momo) and the Bhatti Pasal Thali (note that this is a big portion). If you like spicy food, make sure to...ask for the spicy sauce because it’s delicious! The waiter was very kind and helped us make our choice, including a small dessert which we enjoyed. Definitely recommended, make sure to reserve a table when in Amsterdam!More

The shop is small but well decorated, the open kitchen allows guest to start salivating as they see dishes getting prepared. We had dumplings which were absolutely wonderful. Very friendly staff too, a good address to have in Amsterdam!

We came here to dine on our trip and really enjoyed the food. It is fairly priced and tastes great. The staff is very friendly and the restaurant lies in a quiet street. If you want to try something different this is a good option...for you.More

There are three or four steps up to the front door and the restaurant is quite tight with only 6 or so tables available, but with a couple of sturdy friends if the wheelchair is stowable I'd thoroughly recommend the effort... More
